Controversy: Veekee James and the Wedding That Attempted to Break the Internet... 

I love the disclaimer you had at the end about all the work and money such a weeding takes in the background. One thing is that Veekee has a lot of fashion entrepreneurs in her circle, her hairstylist, MUA were in her bridal train. She herself made all of those dresses so that’s a lot odd cost that could have been highly reduced. It’s great to admire these things but also we ought to know that we don’t have to do the same

My dad is a welder and when it came to the doors in our house, instead of wooden doors, my guy put iron doors everywhere. Even used badt design for some of them. Vicky is a business woman and she knows what she is doing with all the outfits and drama. She will get good businesses from this wedding. Nigerians just like wahala.

Her choice of hood was rough her father died before she was 5 her mum never remarried and raised 5 kids on her own Biko the girl is proud of her Journey. The gist abt wanneka and Veekee was actually that the guy was wanneka’s staff and unknown to her Vicky was having an affair with him which she eventually ignored when she found out but along the line it was like mixing business with pleasure were wanneka could ask the guy to do something and veekee would redirect the task to someone else to get it done. Wanneka was very uncomfortable with the situation but couldn’t say so due to her closeness with veekee. She no come Dey fit shout for the guy or express displeasure when he’s not doing his job,cos she Dey guide her friend feelings. apparently he’s been working with her for years and veekee’s intervention led to him being distracted with his job, say the guy fits Dey work and then veekee go come the place and he will stop working which eventually led to wanneka addressing veekee about her displeasure. Na so veekee vex say wanneka isn’t supposed to have any issue with whoever she chose to love, na so the thing come bring issue and the guy stopped working for wanneka and wanneka too come vex say veekee made her lose her staff that has been with her for years. Veekee sef talk say wanneka is a bad friend for having an issue with who she love and it’s giving bad belle vibes so na so friendship come spoil. Sources say wanneka bear the thing for long before she finally talk her mind. I had to type in pidgin so the gist would be sweet🤣

This is the first video I’ve watched about Vicky’s wedding, and I must say that this was very very balanced. You were very fair in your criticisms,especially the Pretty Mike. Also agree about her husband being reserved and more laid back, it doesn’t mean he is not into her. Most couples I know with healthy marriage don’t even have physical chemistry, it’s so childish trying to use that to determine if a couple love each other. The thing about her saying atleast Nigerians can leave her when they lost, felt likw banter to me, but obviously people were just really in their feelings about loosing, and some are probably jealous. To be fair, she’s not the first person to be so extra for her wedding, so I don’t get the hate towards her. My own opinion about her wedding is that she was marketing herself. I loved all of her traditional outfits, including the intro or was it the small bride price ceremony to her family, I loved all of that. Even her trad decor was gorgeous gorgeous. Her white wedding I love the lace dress, the hair and makeup. But I didn’t like the dress she changed into, the wig changes and I didn’t like the decor or the grooms (and groomsmen) outfit. Overall very interesting wedding to follow, I personally enjoyed keeping up with it. I pray for a fruitful and happy marriage for her❤

Love this video! Honestly if some people search their heart very well the anger they have with her over their wedding is rooted in insecurity and jealousy. Personality wise opposites attract. I am so loud and bubbly and my hubby is quiet and reserved. A lot of the extra things in our wedding was all me, left to my hubby we could have had 30 guests and one anyhow hall 😂. As a cake decorator in the past i wanted a big dramatic cake with multiple flavours and we had that lol. I agree regarding pretty mike that part wasn't good at all.
