MSD’s Atomic EFI just got better with the introduction of Atomic 2.0! The new system retains its self-learning capability but adds an optional lap-top-tuning feature for dialing in unique and high-power engines. Redesigned boosters improve fuel dispersion and four 100lb/hr injectors support 650hp naturally aspirated, or 635hp in blow-through or draw-through forced induction applications. Atomic 2.0 is a direct fit on any 4150-flange intake manifold and a revised kickdown linkage supports GM, Chrysler, and Ford transmissions for ease of installation

Yes!! Honestly, I thought the Sniper was going to replace the Atomic. I am confused as to why the same company would release competing products. Maybe they can explain why someone would choose an Atomic 2 over a Sniper, or vise versa.

Simple go with the sniper! From experience with many of these aftermarket EFI systems, & many different applications, the Holley Sniper is superior to most of the other TBI systems, & honestly to even many of the multi-port systems. And Holley EFI systems over most of the others. The first version of the sniper was decent but had limitations, so if using one make sure you use the latest version. Chances are if you're buying this brand-new you will get the latest version, but I'm saying this for those who may buy one used, and the seller may be trying to upgrade and sell the first version of the Holley sniper and the buyer may not be aware that it's the first version. There's nothing wrong with the first version, but if you're looking to make serious power, use power adders, with alot of other options, first version wasn't as advanced as the ones being sold on the market now. For instance they were limited up to 7 PSI of boost and didn't have one of the other available options. Regardless the Holley sniper is an excellent piece. Unfortunately it only gets a bad rap because of these two main reasons, the first being the user, or the installer, in that they do not know how to properly install and or set it up. The 2nd, is the stigma that seems to be attached to it, in that it is marketed for the novice, the idea that anybody can install it and it's self Tunes and so it's not as advanced as other systems. This is completely untrue. In fact it is a quite Advanced system, especially when you tune it using a laptop and or computer, where it has many of the same features as The Terminator, and Dominator systems, except for the fact that it is a throttle body and not multi-port EFI, & a few other things of course. You also can use and incorporate some of the software from The Terminator to the Sniper, and I mention this because due to this stigma, there is more support and software for the Terminator and Dominator versions, especially for base calibrations & initial launch start ups. But the reality is a good tuner would be able to do a lot with the sniper set up by itself. Don't get me wrong, the Dominator especially, is an advanced system, but don't underestimate the Sniper. When using using a laptop or computer to set up & tune the Sniper, it opens alot of options. Another stigma is that TBI is inferior to multi-port, or direct injection efi. Again this is not true at all. Each has pros & cons so to speak. I'm not going to elaborate here because I could write a book on all of this. In fact both my brother & I, who both have over 20 years experience building high performance engines & doing high end fabrications, & we both chose to use the TBI, Holley Sniper in our own personal builds, which are, mine is Dart forged 384 Stroker SBC with twin turbos, currently making 735HP / 840TQ on only 10 PSI, & my brothers is Dart forged 302 SBF with single turbo, currently making 795HP / 680TQ on 14 PSI. Neither engines are even broken in, & so not even fully turned up yet, & they definitely can be pushed alot more. The reality is, that the Sniper is reliable, & can support 650HP or 1250 HP depending upon model. And they do!

@@corvettefever360 I have a 383 stroker in my chevelle making close to 600 and want to make it as my daily. Want to add a efi system was going to buy the sniper until I seen the 2.0 MSD ....

@@corvettefever360 The other thing I have been eyeing is the multi-port Pro Flo 4 from Edelbrock. This is for a mild small block Mopar.

all the EFI kit guys make the biggest mistake that always that leads to no one wanting to get them and that's mounting tthe ecu on to the heat soaked and throttle bodies that go out and burn out after a year two. start making EFI kits with separate ecu's with usb port so they can be placed in cooler places so they last

I know you saw it is an upgrade but you should make an option where you can get the ECU separate because those like to get very hot since they are right above the engine and when you have the ECU built into the fuel injector like that you're cooking a computer that needs to stay cool and just asking for failure

What many of us need is a CARB-approved EFI system to replace Chrysler lean-burn systems. I'm guessing this system doesn't have an EO number from California...

Electric fuel pump regulated at 60psi, 4 wire hook up, computer self tunes automatically, whats the deal? Everyone who works on cars can do that guy.
