You had some pretty awesome ideas for that Balrog, would never have thought of using sand for the skin or hot glue for the wings, really creative. Can't wait to see him painted.

Thanks! Hopefully it all works out 😅 sand was a quick way of covering the fur, although filing/sanding it down probably would of been even quicker with not having to wait for drying.

Looks great! I'm excited to see it all painted up. I felt the pain with you of the hot glue gob on your fingers. Never a fun time.

Thanks! 🙂 Because I've made it a 2 parter, I have till the weekend to finish painting it. So if I mess up, least it won't be from rushing... Just incompetence and momentary lapses in fine motor skills 😅 Those were probably the causes of getting hot glued too, come to think of it 😂

Haha dude, I can tell you now even before I've started painting, that you've put waaay more work into the paint job than me! 😅 The fire weapons look great on yours

@@jmaccsarmiesofmiddleearth That's a good question 😂 I guess I was going with black with some dark grey dry brushing like the rest of the skin? but I should probably take advantage of the texture somehow... I'll put my thinking hat on 😅
