My conversion of a chaos mutant into an Adeptus Mechanicus techpriest trying for an INQ28 admech style. My Patreon: www.patreon.com/user?u=435681... Follow me on instagram at: / kitbosh
I personally feel like it would've been better to put on a full robe that's torn to hell, because that way you can keep the logic of a hooded head but also have the exposed fleshy detail, but I still like the idea of this far-flung lost tech priest who exists to roam the galaxy.
@@kitbosh It's not weird to have difficulty sculpting robes. I'd say you do it very well, actually. But yeah, sculpting robes isn't really that enjoyable. One thing I recommend is to get a blanket with the sort of texture you want for your robes and drape it over a chair or something. Just take some pictures and move it around a little, than you can basically try and copy that shape onto the mini using green stuff. It might not work for you, but it did the job for me, so I figure it's worth a shot.
@@kitbosh what size of base would you recommend for the mutants? I'm not very good at judgeing sizes from pictures and videos but they look like they would be bigger than normal Abberants
Honestly? I kinda get the vibe that he's from a time when the God- Emporer was the Emporer, and he is going around this Tatooine-like planet beliving he is the last techpriest, and he wants to find more people to convert to techpriests, to pass on his knowledge
Glad I found your channel have become a huge fan of your work 2 questions where do you get your bits and have you thought about trying to create thunder warriors?
To be honest I haven't really: all my builds seem to end up either mechanicus or ork somehow. For bits, some I get through ebay, but most I get through sites like bitsbox, bitsandkits, bitzarium, and megabits. There's a couple other ones, but those are the most dependable.
Tbh, this video made me wonder how tolerant the AdMech is of mutants, especially since I haven't found anything that says that they hate mutants like the rest of the imperium (and that's not from lack of trying.)
