That Studebaker is a beauty, and my favorite body style. However, Studebaker didn't introduce that body until the 1949 model year! I've seen this many times: the builder will title it as a '48 so they can get into pre-49 rod runs.

When you’re on “Fins and Things” in Moab, that carb is not the best decision. But, I will agree as I live in Florida. 0-300 feet above sea level for the entire state and about 0% grade. I’ve done the “Nutter Bypass” and converted a 4.2L to a Weber 32-36, spot on the best thing for a mostly street driven vehicle.
You realize this show is from 2002. Of course it's outdated. Doesn't take away what the resourcefulness for EFI convertions back then. And the bolt-on parts should still be available.
