One thing for those are struggling on that main fuel line disconnect there a white ring piece he doesn’t have that needs to removed first before u can squeeze the line and remove it
Thinking about getting this for my m3. What do you think is the best way to do e85. I am NA so would I have to upgrade injectors? Is the most efficient way to run this kit, bpm flex fuel tune with stock injectors?
Hey sal, recently bought an x pipe in december from you. I got a tune from chaos calibration, i didnt include any option for e85 at the time. Would i be able to add this without needing to tune again or do you know if its better to tune again for better performance/reliability? It would be the last thing needed for NA gains
Cold starts are a struggle for me if I’m over E60 mix so I stay around E50 for summer and maybe E40 for winter time. Definitely feeling the performance gain and peace of mind for healthier running engine. Also, RIP mpg 😆
Hey i have an e92m3 and have an alpine motorsports tune on 91 octane will I need to tune to be used with e85 or will it adapt to the fuel thar in the car?
hi sal im running full e85 on my e92 m3 supercharged upgraded fuel pump and 613cc injectors car pulls like a train made 460rwkw only issue is cold start ctakes 30 mins to start once warm no issue anytips tried all types of tuning maybe should run flex and e50 really cold here atm
Nice! Yea I would recommend no more than E60. There is a lot of diminishing returns after e60. Have your tuner send you a revised map for E50/60 and run that. Cold starts should be much better. For me I have the best result with E45. Flex fuel is very convenient.
Don't follow this guy he's not telling you everything. Buy the kit and save 2 grand and pay a professional BMW tuner to get it done as you'll need a tune most importantly after the kit is installed anyways.
