Ledger was good in everything. Monster Ball, 10TIHAY, Patriot, Knight’s Tale. Very sad that such a talented person was lost so young.

Awesome work. I'm happy to see this part with fresh viewers again. The midnight release, the Friday showings, the opening weekend showings, and the few weeks after were spectacular back in 2008. This hit it pretty close to how everyone took in this phenomenal film during its release.

That truck flip if you didn’t know, was real. All of it. They actually flipped a semi-truck in real life. All the cables and things deployed in the movie you see were the safety pieces to make the stunt a reality. Chris Nolan wants to do as much practically as he can, if he takes a while, then so be it in his eyes. He is the modern master of practical effects on film.

Long story short, the truck flip was accomplished with a massive pneumatic piston that the stunt driver, Jim Wilkey, activated. The thing is, how to flip the truck was the easiest part. The hard part was figuring out where and when, because not only did they film this for real on an actual downtown Chicago street, but they specifically filmed it in the vicinity of banks and underground vaults. And I kid you not, the only reference that Jim Wilkey had to let him know where to activate the piston to flip the truck was a tiny cross on the road made out of duct tape.

Joker - doesn't plan anything. like a dog chasing cars. Not a guy with a plan Also Joker: Plans arguably the best heist in movie. A heist that can accomodate any changes and twists because it has been reviewed and approved thoroughly by the Joker
