Conway the Machine's debut solo studio album From King to a God was released on September 11, 2020 by Griselda Records, Drumwork and Empire Distribution. The production was done by Beat Butcha, Daringer, Alchemist, DJ Premier, Erick Sermon, Havoc, Hit-Boy, Khrysis, Murda Beatz, Rockwilder and Signalflow Music. Features on the album are from from Armani Caesar, Benny the Butcher, Dej Loaf, El Camino, Flee Lord, Freddie Gibbs, Havoc, Lloyd Banks, Method Man and Westside Gunn.

Kazzy Kaioken The virus is spread through respiratory droplets so as long as everyone wears a mask, we’ll be fine. Nobody should even be touching their mask anyways. Washing your hands before you take it off is the best way to do it.

I know I gonna get some shit for that but for me Gunns new album was reallyl disappointing. I say that as someone who named Pray For Paris as one of their favs of 2020. It represents everything that started to bore me about Griselda. How often can Daringer and Beat Butcha still make the same beat? Some strong features but this time they cant save it for me...

I am an Eminem fan. This is my first Conway album. This shit is fire. That song about his friend who died is my favourite and the verse about George Floyd got me too. Loved this album. Gonna check his other work. Method Man destroyed that verse🔥.

Just go all the way back to Hall N Nash and Flygod start from the beginning. TBH I recommend starting all the way back to 2010 Roc Marciano then Griselda discography afterwards if you want the ultimate purist run.

When you do a debut album it's obvious that you move away from that mixtape-esque mixing/beats. I thought he did a great job and everything sounded better. Most of the joints and feature verses were crazy. Front Lines beat gave me the stank face

A great album, one of my favourites this year. Overall also one of the best Griselda ever released. Westside Gunns new one is the counterpart for this one and represents everything that I dislike about Griselda. Anyway, cant always be top notch with so many releases. This one here is fire. Besides Pray For Paris and Supreme Blientele it is my fav Griselda proiect.

Am new to DEHH, have been going through and listening to all the reviews of albums I have listened to, I just gotta say that all of you guys have an amazing chemistry and the way you talk about music gets me genuinely excited about the art. I could see what Feefo was saying, but for his taste you think he loves this album, cause of how much more commercial, but still so rugged, Conway has that Biggie formula how to make commercial heat, but still gritty af!!! Am I the only one who thinks supreme blientele is by far the best Griselda album? Not that I don’t love pretty much all of them but for me supreme blientele is like another level, tana talk 3 and a few others come close but I have such a strong personal connection for it

fear of god is one of my favorite songs of the year. 1 through 7 are fucking great, then that armani and freddie combo kinda took a dive but the last 4 songs are again fucking great. top tier griselda album. favorites: fear of god, lemon, juvenile hell, forever droppin tears, jesus khrysis.

I agree with Feefo. This is a great album but I prefer the darker Reject 2, GOAT, Black Tape even LULU. The album is lighter in terms of production compared to those albums but whatever it’s a great album regardless

I hear people saying that Con has been one dimensional. I never got that sense from him. I've always felt that Con has always been more personal than everyone in addition to being hard. My critique was that the overall quality of the albums haven't been top tier. But this one... This is by far my favourite Con project, one of the best Griselda projects. Best of 2020.

Im with Feefo, it's a good album but it's not what i prefer to hear from Conway. Understood that it was important for him to show artistic growth and i gotta applaud that, but honestly he's had better projects even this year. Lulu by far is my favorite this year.

I dunno what it is about this album but i don't like it as much as his previous releases. not sure what it is, maybe the production... something about it sounds "less hard" to me. like he was trying to go more mainstream with it, but not quite.. it's aiight tho, just doesn't seem as hard to me. even tho he spits hard ass bars. must be the production lol

I get what Feefo was saying about "Seen Everything But Jesus". It definitely deviates from the typical Griselda sound. I'm glad they didn't go that route with the song cuz its something different and it worked for me.
