They just don't have good country like this anymore this stuff these days grrrrrr my mom used to turn his music up loud and dance in the living room she loved him! She saw him in concert in Fort Worth back in the early 80's gosh I miss my mom maybe she finally met him in heaven :)
Totally agree! This is not a direct quote from the man himself, but someone wrote about him: "He was singing to the women but he was talking to the men." I like that.
Nice Tara! Being able to appreciate all music is brilliant! I have Skid Row, Adele, John Mayer and Conway on my iPod. Music is music when it touches your soul :)
They mention in this video that Conway's ability to change his sound was what made him so popular. I disagree, what made him so popular was his ability to sing. His Only Make Believe song, find me any popular artist today that can sing it remotely close to him.
Me too. My grandmother raised me on his music. I especially love Slow Hand, Hello Darlin', It's Only Make Believe, Linda On My Mind, & You've Never Been This Far Before.
It's sad his Kids and their Mother Miki was not part of this program. He had many years with them. I feel they would have been the appropriate People to tell his life Story. Not a greedy Woman who pushed his Kids out and cut them off when their Dad died.
His son Michael and daughter Joni were on it. And I'm not defending his widow by any means but I will say that from what people have said from what I seen in interviews they did love each other and she was also a part of his life. It's sad that a lot of times a death of a loved one can bring out the worst in people. I didn't know any of them though I would have loved to have met Conway but this is just my opinion.
Great, Awesome n a Fantastic singer 💕 miss him and his deep voice, just an ordinary guy with a voice that will melt every woman's ❤️ but an all around country boy who was loved by millions of people... love n miss you Conway Twitty 🤗🕊️❣️🌹
Thank you so much for posting this and the other parts as well. His singing deeply touches my emotions and goes straight to my heart. He was an irresistible blend of sweetness and sexiness and his incredible voice was truly a gift from God. May his beautiful sweet soul rest in peace. 💖

Ya but it took George Straight 13 years after Conway's death to beat his record, if Conway was still alive he would still hold the record for more #1s than anyone!
