Yang teaches you how to make yummy Chinese dumplings!
Recipe:
140 g cabbage
2 spring onions
225 g pork mince
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp Shaoxing wine/sherry
½ tsp ginger
1 ½ tbsp coriander
¼ tsp salt
24 dumpling wrappers approx. You can get dumpling wrappers from an Asian shop or easily make some.
Shred the cabbage.
Blanch the cabbage in boiling water for 1 minute then drain it.
Mix the pork, spring onions, soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, ginger, coriander and salt in a bowl.
Wet the edges of the wrappers.
Put a spoonful of the filling in the wrapper.
Pinch the edges together.
Cook the dumplings for a few minutes in oil then steam them.
Dip in soy sauce and enjoy! Yummy!
