I have a belling double oven and hob and being on my own I use the single oven, a few months ago the switch to one of the back rings was caught while having the shopping delivered which caused a fire very quickly, so for safety sake I always turn the cooker off at the plug when I'm not using it. So today - Christmas Eve - I turn the bottom oven and - nothing - no light, no fan, no heat, I searched you tube and saw your video and thankfully after pushing the function button on the clock the main oven is working. Honestly I really cannot thank you enough. I hope you and your family having a wonderful festive season x
My Hansa built-in oven after a power outage showed the error "no F5" and did not respond to the touch of the sensor, absolutely nothing worked. I wanted to call the service, but I tried to turn off the device first and then turn it on. When I did that, I no longer had an error on the display, but the clock worked and the oven returned to its original state. Therefore, you should always check everything yourself first and only then call the service for help if you cannot solve anything.

Hi my oven works when the earth in the plugs is disconnected (no electric shock touching the oven) but trips as soon as connected. what could be the solution? dangerous to work without the earth?

i having issue with my smeg, did not cook my pizza so thought be element on fan force.got new element work well when turn over mode on switch but before that when i put mains on the side back fan motor is on ,as iff power py passing switch ,never had that issue before since i switched off oven untill i placed new element, changed to old element and checked my wires on grill element as i know i pulled 2 off but placed back , the fan force element is correct i did take pic before i pulled apart,cheers Australia
This series of videos is brilliant! I have a hotpoint dd2540ix grill & oven. The other day while using the grill there was a bright flash from the grill and the whole thing turned off. The RCD had been tripped. Now the oven will not turn on at all and only half the grill works. Could you help diagnose the problem and point me to the right video in the series to follow as a repair guide? Many thanks
I had a second hand freestanding Indesit cooker that did a similar thing, I ended up getting a new cooker, because the cooker with the fault was so old anyway It is likely the element that developed a fault or the wiring for that element Hope you got it fixed anyway
Without knowing the model, it's quite a difficult one for me to answer if there is a timer on the cooker this could be cutting the oven out, there may be some thermal protection that is not working correctly and cutting out, it is worth you watching the videos in this series as there are many reasons for your oven cutting out
Is it common for Hotpoint gas cooker lid gas shut off valve to go faulty no gas supply to any part of the cooker I have renewed this valve and it worked fine for about 4 months and now it has failed too no gas flowing .it's bottle gas The valve is made by peerless number Gcv210 Thanks

My oven is integrated into the cupboards and isn't turning on. The grill element doesn't turn on, and the fan doesn't spin. The oven makes no noise when I turn it on now. I've been told to replace the oven element at the back but surely the grill element would still work? I'm not sure what the issue could be or how to fix it

Hi. I need a little help with my flavel G60 cooker. The problem is, top grill door. The door open and closes as it should be. But when the toaster grill gas 🔥 is on, n when I close the door. The gas flame 🔥 turns off. Why is this how can I fix it??
