I dont know why, but it feels like this song fits cookiezi's whole osu career perfectly: getting it built up, going hard, going INSANE, going BEYOND insane, calming down (with a sad tone) untill eventually, ending.

his score was 19,539,968 right when he paused. the actual top score is 14,514,834 by xilver15 (30/11/19) 1 year, and even tho he didn't submitted his play, it still remains as the best play on the map. truly a player ahead of his time

Its kinda sad that some of the players who "support" shige doesn't give a damn about the player itself, only his plays. I noticed his hand was hurting during the break, his aim was shaky and he was massaging his thumb the whole duration of the break.

Honestly, Shigetora has evolved overtime from doing insane plays to doing the unimaginable. It's amazing to see him give us these moments of him doing his best and giving his all until he can't go further. One day shige will pass the godmode torch to someone else, but we will always remember shigetora for being the one who gave us the motivation to play this game and enjoy it. I wish shige will do something to make us all remember him forever ;___; #Shigetora

I'm aware that even though Cookiezi doesn't finish this play, and that he may be hinting at a retirement in the near future, if he hasn't done such already. However I really love his play on this song, because this replay shows us the reason he deserves the #1 spot in the game. For the years of dedication to playing, the fact he still stayed active, despite getting banned, and not being a player focused on Farming PP. This replay, and others such as his 100% FC for the 3/4 way through Freedom Dive (Arles), Lemur FC, HR on DADADADA, etc. I hope his wrist recovers, because it'd be a shame to see such talent disappear. (Not saying he should keep playing consistently, but perhaps every now and then, to remind us why he is an osu! rhythm champion.)

Cookiezi is All Might. Was in his prime for so long, but is now faltering. If things go according to All Might's story itself, he'll be around for one or two more benchmarks to shake the world and cause our jaws to drop. I can hope...as Cookiezi was such a huge influence on me playing osu!. Every play he does feels as if it's just some kind of cakewalk, every motion with his pen as if he'd been born to. Yet he wasn't. He's not a prodigy case like Vaxei or someone of the sort. He's a strong-willed dedicated player. It destroys my heart to have followed him for so long and yet here we see him. He's sad, irritated, and hardly having any fun. We'll see where things go...but I don't think we're going to have him much longer...

This score would've been #1 on the map even today, almost 2 years later, way to show how dominant Shige was. We miss him.

Can someone please tell cookie that I respect him from the bottom of my heart... He gave me inspiration in my desperate times that I could do unimaginable things... He gave these plays by putting his life into it, and I wish he would just have time and support to do anything he pleases. I haven’t really noticed this with other streamers or even streamers of other games in general, but do most people thank streamers for streaming? In my mind I just assumed people felt like it was their privelege to watch a stream. Either way, that’s super cool.

Even if he's my inspiration, I'd recommend him to quit or play very rarely. I don't want to see him lose his hand in his livestream :(

He's been doing all those crazy plays for such a long time it really must've affected his fingers in a bad way. Even if he quits, I'll still remember him as a true #1, not because of the total pp on his account, not because of the highest pp play on a single map, but because of his dedication to the game, his skill and the effect he had on the community. Passed many maps that were said to be unpassable with HD, even HDHR. And then, we have people like nappymyboy on 5:10, saying bullshit like "submit or i commit stop living". Yeah, hit me up with your obvious excuse of "it was a joke"; "it's a meme" etc. It might be funny to you, but Shige is possibly tired with that shit as well. He moved from Twitch to Openrec to have a less cancerous chat, and well, you see the effects... Respect to Shigetora for his determination, skill and the time he spent here. Have a good one.

But no matter how talented he is, he’s still a man. Maybe it was time he take a long rest and find what he really enjoys in life. If somewhen he decides to come back to osu, I will still say hello to him and watch him play with all my heart. He played a big role in bringing me to osu, and 6 years later, I still can’t deny it.
