Love the channel here in the blue ridge mountains in western North Carolina, I'm sitting at 4,840 feet above sea level still living the mountain way up in these old hills! My father passed away on December 31 2021 we actually watching one of you and Hannah's catfish videos took us both back to some of our own adventures! Every moment counts hold on tight!! Thank you for all y'all do appreciate ya!!
Tomato Paste Hack - Open both ends of the tomato paste can. Take one side off, then use the other side and push it through the can which will push the paste out of the can. Just be careful not to push it too hard or you will probably drop the metal part into whatever you are cooking. It should slide out pretty clean.
Such a beautiful father and daughter relationship. Being a father of 2 daughters myself this is a beautiful thing to watch. I hope I can be as close with my daughters as these two peas in a pod are.
I'm from the UK yet every single time I watch a video from hannah or Jeff I find myself thinking and talking in that amazing bama accent for at least 30 minutes after . It's just intoxicating listening to hannah talk .
Love ya buddy, love to watch you build those cabins and that house it makes me smile, gives me more appreciation towards just being alive everyday. You're a true 1% of the 1% of real men left in the world.
I love watching you guys do stuff together….I’m going to let you in on something…. You know if you burn the RUE then it’s no good and to keep mixing rue is a pain.. So i found this secret and it works great with every gravy…. If you spread out your flour on a baking sheet and bake it at 350 til its golden brown you can just add it and not worry about trying to not burn 🔥 it in the butter…
I agree the way they get along what a great dad he is. Love these 2 together ..When I see them together I have cryed as a 63 yr old women I did not have a dad like this at all ..God bless u both. .keep up the videos. More cat fishing ♥️♥️
I appreciate Jeff showing us how to do different things. I lost my dad not long ago. Jeff makes me feel like like I still have a dad teaching me real life things. From building homes to cooking awesome food. Thank you!!
America's greatest outdoors Dad & daughter, no matter what they're up to huntin', building houses, boar pens, fishin'/grabbin', cookin', u name it! Luv it y'all!
I do declare my north Alabama childhood upbringing and roll tide loving self would enjoy a bowl of turtle gumbo as much as you LSU tiger folks.keep up the good work and we appreciate you and Hannah.🤓
you guys are a true treasure, my daughter & i would shoot our weekly archery leagues in the winter & 3D shoots in the summer months, the BEST time i spent with her...
You can never have too much garlic. I bet that tastes amazing. I've never had soft shell turtle but I do love snapping turtle. We generally pressure cook the turtle before frying them. But they're always delicious.
Wow! That looks so good! My stepfather's mother fried up some softshell turtle when I was a kid, and I remember that it was one of the best meals I ever tasted. I love the daddy-daughter rapport that you and Hannah have going on. I am happy for you both. My father's side of the family lives in Alabama; I've always loved that part of the country. I live in Texas now. Happy Father's Day, Jeff!
I have a lot of family in southwest Mississippi and Louisiana. I have a great Aunt who married a Cajun and along with my other family members can really cook. My Grandma made a stew from soft shelled turtle that is slap yo mama good. Grandma put jalapeno peppers in hers. Grandpa liked "hot" food with a kick.
We don't eat turtle here in Poland but deepfried catfish ? Man this is something we doing almost every weekend with my friends and we all appreciate you guys. Thanks to You and your cooking we can feel like in South Alabama for a while. I'm waiting for more, like always.
Never had turtle over here in Scotland. But oooosh I'd love to spend a week or 2 in the south to taste that damn good cuisine.. Much love to you all from Fife, Scotland 🏴
That looks delicious guys ! Like your kitchen how it looks, simple but works . Merrill looks like a cool dog. I live in Strafford, Missouri on a homestead with a cabin . Deers and turkeys and a pond with snapper turtles, had fried turtle but goin to give your all recipes a try ! Many Blessings and Appreciate you all too ! ❤️
Best feast I've ever had... Still can taste it! Cajun cuisine! Got me a 60lb. Snapper, & mean jillene (THE QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE) done up the vittles! Big big feast! The BEST!
I watched Jeff’s video during a tornado warning. I might have nerves of steel or plain stupidity, but at least I know how to cook a soft shell turtle now👍
Mr Barron. Looking between my drag racing videos an country folk videos. I stumbled across you sir an now a subscriber. The vid with yall an gingerbilly was hilarious 😂. Dang yall like perfect people, not enough like you sir. God bless an hope yalls year is filled with family an loved ones having a great time.
Hooooooo... some steamed rice, some big ol' hunks of French bread and butter on the side... and that lusciousness over the rice. I'm in, with both hooves!! Merle! Make an arrest!!!
I hope to one day, before I die, get to eat turtle. I have heard that it is so good. With all that goes into your Sauce Picante It sounds delicious. Good to see y'all cooking again. Love all of your VLOGs.
Look delicious. Learned how good turtle is when I was in New Orleans. Wonderful stuff. That recipe would probably work with rabbit too. Cajun is the best.
Ya ll are hilarious cooking. That's the only way to do it. Wing it. Jeff you are right about that tomato paste thing. Guess they make some in a tube, but I ain t never seen it. Looking good.
That was good to see you both again and I have to say that I don't think I ever ate turtle. Never did catch one. When I see them in my yard I know they are heading toward the pond they were hatched in so I pick them up and carry them over to the pond because it is at least a 100 yards to that pond from my place.
