I'm not sure I understand the icloud. I have set phone to automatically add to icloud. Is this a good idea? I mainly would like to add photos automatically. Your video was very helpful, thank you. I am OLD and the 6 plus is my first smartphone. Need I explain more?LOL
10:58 This happens to me a LOT because I have 3 or 4 social apps. With very active chatrooms. And I watch a lot of RU-vid and Anime and so I just flick the silent switch. That is one of the many reasons I got an iPhone lol.

Hi Dan, I've been through a couple of iPhone 6 tricks on RU-vid and I've got one that I've not yet seen anyone showing it. Its the swiping of the two fingers on the screen from the top and it lets Siri read the message or texton the particular screen. Weather its a mail, whats app message, text message, whenever you get it you just need to swipe to fingers from the top of the screen down. This is how the setting is, Go to; Settings; General; Accessibility; Speech and tap the speak screen on. So Siri reads for you on whatever screen you are. it even lets you pause and change the speech speed.Hope it helped you out and you make a video of it to let more people know.Thanks

thanks so much for the good video. Well prepared and good audio. Really appreciate that you don't repeat yourself three (or so) times, no "ah....ah...ah..." and concise. Can you tell me if there is a way to close all apps running in the background at once. It's quite troublesome to double tab the home page and then swipe each app up.
+Dale Hersh Thanks, glad you found the video useful. Unfortunately with iOS at this point you can't remove all of them. You can swipe more then one up at a time though. Just use multiple fingers. You should be able to do up to 3 if you get a finger on each one.

I have 6S tethered to my macbook pro. Wifi cams ethernet to wifi router on PC w/urls. Cam viewer 2 app on macbook pro was streaming cams in app on macbook yesterday using their urls. Macbook pro is getting internet via iphone. Ipcam viewer 2 app says disconnected on macbook now. ie: Cams use ip addresses and P2P addresses model name ID with cam apps in iphone tho now says cams offline in the manufactures P2P app. on iphone. I have no internet on the PC but the PC's P2P app is showing and recording video to a file 24/7 to the PC backup drive. The cams are connected to the ethernet switch via the wifi router that has no internet and is not connecting via wifi to the tethered macbook pro or iphone. How can I pick up the ((wifi signal off the router with the iphone)) and make the manufacturers apps in the iphone for their specific P2P cams show online again on the iphone?
+DHTV - Dan thanks dan i found it after i sent this! i do have a question about the pictures ... when i try to delete a picture it says it will be deleted from everywhere is there setting i have missed or is that just the way they do pictures from the cloud?
karen marcotte You might have it setup to save your photos to your iPad or Mac as well. Not sure how you have set things up but you can check your iCloud settings in the settings app.
DHTV - Dan , Dude my iPhone 6 plus running ios 9.3.5 is it Safe to Update on ios 10? i mean i've heard some" bugs and lags".. is the apple already fix it?? coz if not i will stay here on ios 9.3.5 ..
+RS Ruybal You can try to restart the iPhone, turn it off and on. It seems to be happening to some people. Let me know if that fixes it or not. If not, we can try some other things.

Hey Dan. Can you please make a video about Icloud and Apple ID and what's the difference between them. A phone store connected my Iphone to their Apple ID and they changed their password and now I cannot log in back. Is there anyway I can make my own Apple ID?
Um just saying u don't have to go through so much trouble to have Siri call u by ur names u can just say "hey Siri from now on call me ( whatever ur name is)" just letting u guys know😀😀
Thank you for your reply dan I have been experiencing the phone crashes to the main screen , Siri playing up when you are instructing her to write something she is very confused, Second thing is if you are in a message and you want to take a normal photo and send it we'll allow you to take a photo and send it but if you choose to take another photo while you are still in the message application The screen goes completely black and if you try to rotate the camera towards you The camera goes frosty , to fix that you have to get out of the message application and take one photo and send it then you have to get out of message application , and then remove all icons by flicking them up then you can go back into message and take another photo and send it , I have been advised by Apple to restore the phone and I have done that I have also Restore all settings and steal that did not fix the problem ,there is another use you also call fail you would be on the phone talking to who ever when the phone will crash on the call the only thing appears call fail , The new software iOS 8.2 is not working properly and there is somewhere in this software bug that causes all these issues ,I don't know when Apple is releasing the OS 8.3 software update to fix this problem ,I have spoken to Apple customer care they acknowledge that there is issues with this software update how long will it take to fix it ?? thank you for your for your effort to help people once again thank you.

Everytime you change the settings you have to go back to the home screen and click on the app you were using? Isn´t there like a task manager option with all the stuff that you have opened? Isn´t there an easier way to switch between apps?

Appreciate the support! To change your email signature go to your "settings" app, scroll down and tap "mail, contacts and calendars". Scroll down and tap where it says "signature" and you can type what ever you want. To save it just tap "mail" at the top left and your good to go.
If you want Siri to call you by your name an easier and quicker way is just to ask her. She will confirm your name and ask you if this is what you want to be called.
In I message I can't do the swipe thing to send a photo nor do I have the mic icon where it is on yours it just says send , is it because I updated to iOS 8.1 ?
