Welcome to DHTV. My name is Daniel and I first created this channel in 2011 to help people learn how to use their tech devices. As time has passed DHTV has grown into a wide spread tech channel with tutorials, reviews, unboxings and of course how to videos.
Videos are focusing on the iPhone, Android devices like the iPad Pro, Apple TV, Mac's and MacBooks, Windows PC's and cool tech devices.
The goal here at DHTV still remains to help people learn how to use their tech devices but also to bring to light the great tech devices that surround our day to day life.

Man, the tech industry started REALLY taking off. I remember when the first iPhone barely made it’s debut. Hell, I even remember the iPod Classic lasting as long as it did, to be surprising as well.
I am elderly, but trying to keep up with the new technology. I am new to the MacBook Air, and have enjoyed and learned from your videos. You are excellent at what you do and I will continue to follow you on RU-vid! Thank you!
When I made this video years ago, Garage band didn't need iOS 16 as iOS16 wasn't available. As Apple upgrades iOS older iPhones will become outdated and will no longer be supported for newer versions of iOS and unfortunately apps stop working as well.
Fabulous beginner video, thank you!! I have a question about 24hr time versus 12 hr. I have changed on my apple watch and iphone to 12. It has changed to 12 on iphone but still shows as 24hr on watch. Do you have any idea why it is doing that? Thank you
Thanks so glad that it was helpful. On the Apple Watch go to settings > general > Shut Down. Then press the side button on the Apple Watch to see if it is fixes. If not, then check the Settings for the Apple Watch on the iPhone and see if it is mirroring the iPhone.
Thank you so much for sharing. You have been a tremendous help to me. You made it simple and easy. I have watched many videos and you just made my day...
Sorry to disturp. How du I avoid that when in messages and deep in a long post - even I by accidend touches dynamicisland the post jumbos to the top. I would rather thar it did not 😊
You don't need to sign up. I did not sign up in the video. If you are trying to download what they call premium ringtones then you have to pay and sign up. Follow the video to avoid paying or signing up. Also, you can use any ringtone or dowloads to do this. I just use zedge because it is free through safari for basic ringtones.
I’m just trying to find out why 58gb of iMessage files are taking up my iMac space. I have them on my phone. I don’t need them on my computer. But if I delete from my computer will it delete from my phone too?
You have it connected through the cloud. I am pretty sure what you delete on one deletes on the other. You can try turning off the cloud sync between them in your iCloud settings and delete the ones you don't want saved on the Mac. Test it with messages that don't matter and check the iPhone to see if it deletes first before removing more important messages. My thoughts is that you have iCloud syncing for messages on all your devices.
@@DHTV I appreciate the quick response. Even though it wasn't quick enough to beat my impatient self lol I hope its not synced but i literally cleared everything out anyway to free space up so I could finish this music video. Now im having a problem with my iMac overheating. The back of it is just burning up while I edit. It turned off yesterday. Which is insane because this is about only a year old! Getting in touch with Apple is probably HELL lmaoo
No, it's free; make sure you follow the instructions. You need to use the Zedge website, not the app. You can download tons of ringtones for free from the Zedge website in Safari on your iPhone. Only their premium ringtones require you to create an account and pay. Please follow the video instructions to avoid getting confused and paying. You must be aware of what you tap, as I do in the video. They want more people to sign up and pay so they make it easy to mix up what you are supposed to click. I make it clear which to click in the video to use the free options.
Yo how do you get to the main screen without signing up for anything. I dont want an email or an account or a phone number. I dont want to connect to wifi either. Id like to play with the basic functions of the phone first and then decide what to do with it. Is this possible? I've never used an iphone before. 📱
Unfortunately you need to connect to wifi to set up the iPhone. After that you can bypass setting up an Apple ID by selecting "dont have an apple ID' and then following options to skip or set up later.
