I love my small silicone spatulas and things too. They are so much easier to work with.

I bought the air fryer and absolutely love it. That clear window makes all the difference.

It is difficult to beat the old rubber spatulas but i do love the new small scrapers. I can't believev i used the wooden cutting boards so long...the germs...the splinters. I love these covers. Now i still clean the wooden tops, lightly bleach them but i cut on the covers. Use a different color for each meat and sep . one for my veggies.

I am behind the times too. Do not have the air fryer but will have to look into it. I really liked the colored cutting boards..that is next on my list. Prayers for your mom..It is never easy when a mom or dad especially are sick. Prayers coming your way.

I was with you Renee, late to the party with an air fryer! Same reasons as you. Well finally got mine a month ago. Love, love, love it! Like you, wish I had done it so much sooner. Oh well, we are finally up to speed! I also love my mini scrappers, use them so much more than my big old honker scrappers. I need those bowls too! Thank you. OXO makes great kitchen stuff; you can't go wrong with them. Renee, I'm with you on not liking bulky wooden cutting boards; having color-coded ones is a good system. How awesome is Randy for fixing corn bread for your mama?!? I hope she's doing better.

I love kitchen gadgets but I always thought an air fryer was just another gimmick I could live without. I was watching QVC one Sunday morning and they had a 3.5 quart on special and since I live alone I thought why not give it a try, it was only $40. Well let me tell you it changed my life. Since I got it I have not used my oven once. I cook everything in it. I very seldom buy frozen food so everything I prepare is fresh. Steaks , burgers, chicken,fish is amazing and I used to roast my veggies in the oven but now they go in the air fryer and come out better than the oven. If you have questions on how to prepare an item look it up on RU-vid, that's what I did and experiment, its so much fun and it takes up very little space on my counter. Believe me it's a game changer.

I love the cherry pitter that I just bought. It makes preparing pies way easier and you can use it for olives as well.

So right about cutting boards I've tried big maple and even bamboo boards. Eventually the split and then you have to throw them out.🤩🇨🇦

I have an air fryer and I’m not terribly in love with it. I think, mostly because I don’t have the counter space for it, and too much hassle to pull out every time I want to use it. But for the other bits and bobs you were showing…I’ve just spent money on Amazon 🤣

Silicone spatulas are the best. They get everything out of the bowl. I have this plastic device that breaks the seal of jars so they're easily opened. It's sort of like a bottle opener; the bottom part fits just under the lid and the top fits on the lid, lift and the air seal is broken....anyway, it's great. I would love an air fryer but I have nowhere to put it.

I have the bowls and the cutting mats. I agree with everything you said. I do not have an air fryer yet. I have very limited counter space. I was late on the instant pot and I love it now, but I am sort of considering moving it and getting the air fryer. Those shrimp are great. A similar product is at Sams and I like those better but they come in a huge box so I only get those a couple of times a year. Everything in my kitchen I have to consider size because it is small.

Cornbread looks good.

Speaking a as a woman with a bad shoulder, I have stainless steel mixing bowls. The stainless steel bowls are lighter than glass, and easy to clean. I just ordered a stainless set with rubber bottoms that have handles, although they are not OXO, I'll see how they perform. I got rid of my wood cutting board years ago, you can't sanitize the surface against e-coli germs(raw meat), so I use silicone or glass as a surface cutting board. Question... your air fryer, how easy is it to clean up, and does it have to be cleaned by hand? Good tips!

The silicone baking utensils are great for making any kind of eggs! The tips are thinner and much more gentle.

You are just a joy to watch. Soon, I'll be a new shopper on your Amazon channel. I'm currently living in a house with two guys and, part-time, one's girlfriends. For reasons I wont go into here, I do as much of my meal prep in my room as possible. I also keep some of my own dishes and utensils in my room for two reasons. 1. One roommate seems to consider everything disposable. Most items only last a few months, if that. I have kitchen things in storage that I've had for over twenty years. 2. I take care of my things and I like to keep them as pristine as possible. It takes no time at all for their cooking dishes to become permanently coated in dried up cooked on blood and fat. (At this point, you can probably tell I'm vegetarian; well, with the exception of the occasional shrimp. Sadly, for the shrimp, I haven't worked up quite enough compassion to prevent me from consuming them occasionally. By the way, I don't lord my choice to be vegetarian over my housemates or any other omnivores. I just know that this choice is the right one for me. Truth be told, I'm still an omnivore. I just don't eat mammals, birds, or fish.) Any waaaaaay...... I've gone off course. I've been trying to decide whether I should do everything I possibly can to get into my own place; or make myself as comfortable as possible in this space for another 6 - 9 months while I save money and work on developing multiple streams of income. I still haven't fully decided. The decision I have come to is making my space more comfortable during the decision making process. It's likely that as soon as I get my room exactly as I want it, the universe will be revealing my next residential project. Similar cutting boards to the ones you feature in this video are on my Amazon wish list; but they've recently sold out. That's one thing I'll be buying from you soon. I'm also hoping to put a little min-fridge my room, if I can find a good deal on one. I'd also like a k-cup coffee maker, and a toaster oven or some multi-function portable indoor cooker. This could wind up being pretty expensive, so I'll be getting everything a little at a time; and I don't know if I'll get all those things. I guess I'm sort of creating a dorm room, in my mind; but I also want money for purchasing better photography equipment, classes, and creating multiple streams of income - investing in my future. Anywaaaaay....... Every time I'm ready to buy, I'll be shopping your store first. Took a lot of words for me to let you know you have a new customer, didn't it? 🤓😏🤐😵

Must say you guys are so blessed in the States. Lots of the accessories will hit our shores in South Africa someday and will cost an arm and leg but non the less very nifty. Gosh what an amazing Air Fryer. Anyhow Randy is such a hun.. Enjoy all the cooking Rene..

OH MY GOODNESS MY Dad born in Kentucky always loved cornbread in a glass of fresh buttermilk---nothing better. Hope your mother gets back to her old self soon and enjoys the Spring heading our way hopefully. I have those bowls love them, have used the silicone cutting boards for years and love them for all the reasons you say but also because I can bend them to dump the cut veggies into the pan or bowl easily. No air fryer though as I hated it and gave it to my daughter who still works and uses it daily for her teens. I am ordering that soap dispenser today! Great video.

About two months ago I got a Ninja air fryer. It dehydrates, air fries and about two other things.

I have two air fryer. One the old style and a new toaster style air fryer. I love both and I won’t give up either. Both have a job to do and both do it well. Tots are the best in air fryer.

Love the kitchen gadget tips, going to look for those cutting boards. Funny about the Air Fryer. I had been wanting one for a couple years, and my wife fought with me tooth and nail that it's just another appliance thing to take up space on the counter. I finally talked her into getting one (provided it won't stay on the counter), and we ended up buying a Cosori 5.8 qt. last November on a Black Friday deal, and it has proved to be the most used appliance in the house, passing up the Instant Pot which we use all the time. Now, she uses it at least 4-5 times a week, making many different things in it (ya, great for re-heating French Fries), and it has earned a permeant spot on the counter. She finds it indispensable for making week-night meal as well as liking the easy clean-up factory too. :-) Thanks for the great video, and prayers for your Mom and you too.

I love gadgets. Makes things easier. Now I was on the fence when it comes to an air fryer. Watched you this morning and looked this air fryer up. Said wal mart had it. So when I got off from work went to the mart. Well they didn't have that one. Came home and ordered it. I did buy stuff to cook in it. So they need to thank you because you are why I bought one. Believe me as everyone knows they have a lot of different ones out there, found that out when I went shopping. So thank you for your video!

This morning I was looking at a DASH mini air fryer. Holds two quarts. I was never interested in one before, but I cannot eat fried foods anymore. I figured an air fryer is the answer. I have only use my air fryer once so this has inspired me to try it more. I hear from so many people that chicken wings are the best in an air fryer so I would suggest trying those.

Two or three times a year Aldi has silicone mini tools in seasonal colors. I like the all silicone implements bec my older bamboo-handled ones rarely fully air dry properly--a problem it seems with all things bamboo including stackable steamer baskets. Renee, I thought the combo was cornbread and buttermilk. Cornbread with minimal or no sugar is actually a rather healthy bread alternative. My small wooden cutting boards are the size of an 8x10 picture frame and work well for me. As I understand it, air fryers are counter top sized convection ovens. My toaster oven has been a go-to for crisping for like 15 years now so I hesitate to buy yet another appliance, including all the rage Instant Pot---and some pricier models have air fryer capability too.

Listened to 2 chefs on NPR who both said the one item that must always go in the dishwasher is your cutting boards. They said you can’t get them clean by hand washing because of cuts by knives. Love your videos !!❤️

We just got an air fryer last week. Great thing. My daughter has used it every night and delicious. Last night she made home made chicken tenders. And the other night she made pork chops, so good and tender. Try bacon, was the best. The only thing is you are limited with the cooking space.

Love all of the food products...unfortunately, alot of these items are not sold in Canada sometimes. But, I enjoy looking for them when I'm out grocery shopping...always willing to try new products. Renee, loved this video on kitchen gadgets! Something you didn't mention is cookware, specifically an enamel coated dutch oven. Do you have one and if so, which brand. I want one, but don't want it to be made in China. Get well wishes and hugs to your sweet mama.

When you said small appliance I thought air fryer. I also finally got one 2 months ago. Mine also has a square basket, which I think is best. I too thought it was a gimmick. I have been proved so wrong. I use it at least 3 times a week. Mostly not for frozen stuff. Two of our favorites are cornish game hens and chicken thighs. So fast and perfectly cooked. But it is also good for steaks and burgers. It's just a great appliance. I won't ever be without one. Happy frying!

Hi Renee - I love all your kitchen gadgets video which now makes wish I had seen a year ago. It was so sweet of Randy to make for your Mom some corn bread. I hope the corn bread makes feel better :) Have you tried the Anbesol for her mouth? I had bought what I thought was the best air fryer based on reviews, made a couple of recipes on it, but no - it was a disappointment; I wish I'd waited for the Kyval for both the window & the halogen burner. Oh, well I have not used mine for the past nine months and is sitting on top of my freezer. Yes, some of my cutting boards surf across the counter when I use them unless I put a wet paper towel underneath, but I love those bowls and will definitely get those; as to the mixing spoons I have a few and I agree they are the best. Caught a glimpse of Pollux coming in the kitchen when you were showing the toasted ravioli ... he looked to the spot where Randy prepared the corn bread & walked away ... An amazing accidental discovery with my airfryer is that the sagi potatoships could go back to life after a night at the fridge.

HI Renee! We just got an air fryer for Christmas last year so pretty new to air frying but oh my goodess we love it soooo much! Make sure to use silicone tongs to prevent scratching.
