Cool Ladies Of The Firelink Shrine and Crystal Sage | Dark Souls 3 First Playthrough Part 8 | Baya 

Hey everyone! Sorry for the chaos and for the time I've spent at the Firelink Shrine playing Fashion Souls and just reading item descriptions. Now that I think about it, I probably shouldn't have left it in the video.. Really hope you enjoy this little chaos regardless. Also, I think I just want to leave the DLC for now and go explore the rest of the Cathedral and the Cemetery next to it. So my question is if I can leave and come back to the painting whenever?

I think the Pontiff Knight Curved Sword can be a fun weapon for your Dexterity-focused build. The armaments you're currently using require two different kinds of materials to improve. Your Hollowslaying Greatsword is a boss weapon and requires Titanite Scales and your Uchigatana is a regular weapon that needs Titanite Shards. I believe the Pontiff Knight Curved Sword is a 'special' weapon that wants Twinkling Titanite. It could be interesting to try the weapon out to see if you enjoy it, even if you don't decide to invest your Twinkling Titanite into it. It does have a fun weapon art.

12:19 dark holes 3 So this umbral ash at 17:17 as you can see the ash depicts a hand holding a pendant... The shrine handmaid tells you that it's the stuff of a fool... It has such one of the most amazing stories in the dark souls community So do you remember the pendant ? "the gift you could choose in the character creation of ds1"... Miyazaki said that when he makes a character he ALWAYS chooses the pendant as it is an extremely useful item.... But the pendant has no use it doesn't do anything... So we searched the entire dark souls community searched and searched for literal years, ds1 has a million secrets and so it was obvious that the pendant also had a secret use, a billion theories were born from it as an entire community would drop it in random places of the map to see if it did anything, some theorized that it would be used in the dlc which wasn't out yet, others thought it was something obscure, some made troll videos about it's use for the laughs while others would look into the game's code to find something, ANYTHING but alas nothing was found... Some people never lost faith however even after the release of ds2 years later a dedicated community still searched clinging on to the hope that there might be something to it... It almost reminded me of the shadow of the colossus community back on the PS2... And then ds3 released... These ashes are Miyazaki laughing at us we clinged to the pendant and grasped it firmly with our hands like the ashes depict only for the handmaid to call us fools Miyazaki just pulled out the biggest troll our community experienced and called us complete fools through this dialogue afterwards and that's why we love him Hey at least we are being remembered as the idiots that held onto a pendant so in a way we are in the game XD

You could explore a bit in Ashes of Ariandel. It would be a very challenging area this early in the game, but it wouldn't hurt to look around a bit.

I know what you mean when you said these bosses get your heart pounding. Dark souls 3 especially also did that to me and some of the later bosses gave me a higher heart rate than most workouts do. I think to me a big part of it is also the music. Fighting some of these bosses without music feels completely different to me, almost relaxing at times lol. Also i really dont mind that you take your time to read all the item descriptions as i never read them myself and they are genuinely interesting. Great video keep it up!

Regarding decisions where to go next: Anywhere that's not the painted world is fine. Like in DS1, there are areas which are roughly equal in terms of difficulty, so it doesn't matter that much.

You don't need us to look away, fashion souls is a big part of this game. This episode might be a little bit less action, but still quite interesting. I was for leaving the "reading description" parts in and I didn't change my mind. It's not a real Dark Souls playthrough without wasting unnecessary amounts of energy into your outfit and aimlessly theorizing about tiny details in the lore. Have more than one woman in Firelink and immediatly going waifu souls? Don't worry about the chaos, Dark Souls 3 is very confusing. It's still great fun to watch

@30:32 Yea, my heart is racing during a tough boss fight. Also, for some reason, I feel like I need to pee right before I have to fight a tough boss.

I deliberately pursued the Dark Lord storyline. As soon as Yoel offered me dark marks in exchange for levels, I felt I knew exactly where it was going and I've been kind of playing the whole 'Dark is the true nature of humanity' since DS1. DS3 wraps up so many long running storylines. I still prefer DS1 gameplay but ds3's story will always stick with me.

when i was following yuria's path i bought the rings from her and used them until the very end of the game so my character wouldn't look like a zombie all the time

Coming straight from DS1 I thought you'd find the early bosses a lot easier, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of the faster paced combat soon.

Hey Baya. Before you advance to much in the game, better go back to the Cleansing Chapel. Snowfield is a part of the DLC, so for now it will be very difficult. When in Firelink Shrine, buy a torch. You will need it soon. Great fight with the Chrystal Sage, although it was too chaotic. If you give bosses too much time they will make you pay dearly. You have the experience of past games and the skills to overcome this challenge. You are a good player and only need to adapt, that's it. Hint: Remember to check the well just outside of the Chapel.

If you can't kill the crystal lizard before it vanishes, just quit the game and when you go back, they're gonna be there, in the same place. You can kill Ludleth!!! Do you think you're gonna do it?! And you are an amazing player, but I think you should focus on getting some titanite scale to upgrade your greatsword. Having a torch is important now. Just saying. No spoilers!!! It's very nice and quite funny watching you playing.

Light and can be infused with Sharp gem for scaling, can be buffed. M-m-m-m... -Dlc can be done with low level, right tower for S str scaling Millwood beast... -Oh, most important. I gotta be honest, I didn't like Ariandel. Ariamis in the first game had something special about it, I really enjoyed being there. But Ariandel felt like a boring winter level. I'm curious what you will think of it. But you are right to leave it for now. And by the way, you should be buying from Grey Rat, he sells for cheaper.
