You came so close... there's no shame in running from the Nameless King, he's optional for a reason. One of, if not *the* toughest boss in the game. Your dodgeroll-squeaks were quite entertaining to watch :) General boss fight advice that works well for me: I always do my first few attempts on a new boss with a shield in hand, focusing on defense and learning its moves. You can't get frustrated about dying when you never set out to win in the first place, but rather to learn and observe.
Hey Baya.You came unbelievably close to dispatch Nameless King out of history books. Yes, he is a tough opponent and you should be scared, but that's a good thing. Being scared makes you fear for your life and that makes you being alert. No shame. Try hitting the head and neck of the King of the Storm. When you hit the legs and feet it jumps and blows fire down. Glad you found the last Dragon stone by trying the Path of the Dragon. The Painted World of Ariendel is a good challenge to your skills and you should take it seriously. Since you are struggling with lack of stamina, use the Grass Crest shield, it will boost your stamina recovery. Same with the Cloranthy ring. Try this and see for yourself. See you next episode.

You should allways wear full armor, you could wear light armour but the slot shouldnt be empty because you get % dmg reduction for every piece you wear and then you get % dmg reduction of the actual piece, i hope i explained good lol

Don't feel bad about the Nameless King, it took me a week first time around! That's why he's an optional, hard to reach boss. So good to see you using your items more frequently and I swear your dodging has gotten sharp since I last saw your play. Don't feel the need to rush though the DLC, its big and literally the last bit of Dark Souls content and story ever to be made, so savor it. 37:18 Congratulations on your first ragequit. Rage and anger goes hand in hand with videogames. When people saying that they are playing games to relax, I think they never played a real game. But the Nameless king... is a good boss. I came to him when I had nothing else to do in the game (because he is so hidden and I missed and forgot). By that time I was using great shields with ease and killed him second try. In new game+ I was not using shields and he was harder, took about 10 tries. I think the main issue with the chicken phase is once again target lock, not using it makes it less chaotic and gives more control over the situation. Flame attack that you kept dying to is a normal attack for every dragon in every souls game, they fly up - you run away. On the 2nd phase just learn the attacks, you can dodge everything. Or block. It's not a hard boss, it's a good boss. One of the few that I actually liked in ds3. That is my thoughts, but you figured it out yourself, just keep trying, you will win, you have no choice. The reason why Nameless King is so tough is because of the delayed attacks, it's not you who's slow, he is They continued this trend in later games so it really is better to adapt to this playstyle now, you're gonna need it But you really adapted to his timings! Some tips for his fight:use the ember from the start and on his third phase when he hits his spear with lightning and it splits after stand behind him and just hit, you will not take damage both from the hit and from lightning splits You definitely can do it!
That and it's a 2 phase boss so the nervousness of failure seeps in. Knowing you gotta do the 1st phase again if you fail can get to a mf lulz. Things like this tend to be easier when you got less to lose on the line.

You must remember that Ashen One failed to link the Fire in his own world, so events of Dark Souls 1 did not happen exactly as in that game. Some even say that the player is actually invading the world of another (perhaps Anri's world, or world of Champion Gundyr) . Thus Havel could have survived and went to join Nameless King. Semi - cheese strategy against Nameless King : in first phase go for the throat, especially when dragon starts to breed fire. For second phase bring a good bow with lots of various arrows to the max. Stay away from King, avoid his range attacks, and spam arrows.
Yuria questline ruins all Friede dialogues. Zero "dommy mommy" cold hatred voice and a lot of yapping about Londor useless lore -_- You hated Friede? Prepare for a great boss fight!

Hey Baya! Very good work figuring what you needed to kill the Ancient Wivern. You have plenty to explore in this area. That knight invading you is a summon. He is invading until you kill the snake witch on the floor above. Same with the naked guy. You need to allow them to invade, then kill the summoners and then kill the invaders. To use all the dragon stones you need to be completely naked. Then you will look like a dragon and with some special abilities. It's up to you to test and discover. Great fight with Havel, he's a tough cookie when he hits. You should go to the Old Wolf bonfire, take the elevator up, and go to the bridge where you fought the demon. Then go to Oceiros arena and go to the room where you found the Dragon path emote. You don't need to apologise for anything, dear. Real life always comes first and some time off helps sorting things out. So, do whatever you need to do, and only after you have a clear head. We'll be here patiently waiting. It's the sidequest for the crestfallen warrior Hawkwood, in case you can't trigger it in this run, and you want to look it up, you know how delicate this quests are. Almost impossible to get them right without a guide
