Really nice work! It is nice to see someone else who takes pride in their shop furniture. Most slap together plywood, using butt joints, and say" it's just shop furniture". I have always been of the mind that there is no better place than your own shop to practice the different types of joinery, woods, and the many skills needed for woodworking. I started when I was 10 years old in my grampas workshop. He was an old-school cabinet and furniture maker so his shop was beautiful. Keep the videos coming!
I saw An aunt recently and she told me that He made my Gram a wooden bicycle. After nurse training, Gramp made her a wooden bicycle. Went on a 4 month ride of the Highlands on wooden tires and all. Gotta agree that the talent of the woodworker is more important than the materials.

Good work. Surprised you didn't use dowels or biscuits on drawer frame, and reversed the orientation of side rails and front back to resist pulling apart over time.

Could be that English is not his second language eh .? so often things get misunderstood in translations etc. besides which, I think we can see what is being done and how it's being done without the need to be told ' I'm now going to cut a piece of wood x10 etc.' lol

I believe it was a Trend Product. You can get cheaper models on Amazon, just be sure to read the reviews to make sure there are no issues with accuracy. I make my own doweling jigs out of woods like walnut, maple, and even purple heart with brass tubes. It is a lot of fun to make your own with scraps too.
Is there a reason you didn't inset the drawer where the face would be flush with the edge of the cabinet? I understand you may have lost 2-3 inches of storage space doing it this way, and that's probably good enough reason. Just curious. Very nice work.
Sn un hobbysta ed è la prima volta che vedo un tuo video e non posso fare altro che complimentarmi, quando vedo attrezzatura di serie A (Festool, De Walt etc) rimango affascinato e sn un pò "invidioso" (in senso buono). Mi permetto solo di dirti che se nel filmato avessi aggiunto qualche misura o qualche descrizione dei tipi di legno, per persone come me sarebbe stato molto molto interessante (si può intuire ma nn è la stessa cosa se tu le avessi specificate). Complimenti per la tua capacità essendo poi così giovane.
OR... buy the new 3M sandpaper and you only need a few of each grit. I put a few disks in a letter holder rack for convenience, but the rest just stay in the box until needed.
Spent time and great care on the look and joinery of the cabinet/box only to slap a drawer together using buttjoints? A little weird that way but it does work.
я бы предпочел не просто брать по листику и корячиться позиционировать на подошву шлифмашинки, а брать фанерку на которой нанизаны на 3 шканта круги наждачки и тем самым сопрягая шканты с отверстиями в подошве наждачки и прижимая фанерку самоцентрируются круги абразива... а не утяжелял конструкцию бесполезными перегородками
Зачем зайди в строительный магазин повесь как там сэкономишь кучу места. Просто прикрути фанерку или кусок доски к стене и вкрути саморезы на которые будешь вешать наждачку в заводской упаковке. Сразу будешь видеть на упаковке размер зёрна а на стоимость направляющих купишь по нашим ценам 50-60 шлифовальных кругов
