I was impressed by how much lighting control this budget RGB keyboard/mouse combo has to offer.

No software is required to program the RGB lights!
The keyboard is splash resistant, and Cherry MX keycap compatible.
I like that you can use Fn+F11 to enable the Full Key Lock feature.
You get Mem-chanical switches for tactile feedback, and low noise.
The mouse uses the Avago 3050 optical sensor, capable of up to 3500 DPI.
There’s RGB in 2 zones, and you get 2 lighting effects: Static & Color Cycle.

Thank god I found your video Joanne. To anyone who bought this keyboard and is having a bug where in games holding down any directional button will cause your character to awkwardly jerk when moving, then you need to lower your repeat rate. Press FN+F9 to lower your refresh rate to standard instead of 8x. Joanne shows at 3:37

Spilled preworkout on my old RGB keyboard yesterday, went to the gym praying it would come back to life. Came back and half the keys had logged off permanently :( After slaving through review vids and Amazon reviews this one sold me as it was cogent, comprehensive, info rich and gave a super detailed rundown of how this keyboard works and what the experience would be like. Thankfully Joanne is on the nets, as a coworker it would take weeks figuring out how to discreetly ask her out without risking an HR meeting ;) Also at 4:38, I hope to god she just typed hfuewfbnewufbewfbewufil otherwise her typing skills are OP

2:38 you can acctually change where the ligth comes from with f6 if you pres FN + F6 there will be a quick flash of light from the region of the selected area. you can then use the first F1-F4 to change the color of the selected area. so you can make the right side red, and the left side blue, for example.

The shop lended my this Cooler Master SGK--3040-KKMF1, because my 'other' CM Keyboard seems not to be working properly (and shall be returned and exhcnaged, I guess), but I did not have a manual handy. So thank you so much for your help. It's been unvaluable. No CM Keyboards manuals available anywhere, not even at CM home website!

the ? mode is a custom mode, pressing fn +f6 will select different color sections and you can choose different colors for each section

Melo I've been using this keyboard for the past 8 months and I have to say it is one of the best keyboards I've owned. It isn't exactly mechanical nor does it feel like it but I've come to love the squishyness of the keys. There is no tactile click like a mechanical but everything else looks like it is. The RGB aspect is a little bit lacking because not every key lights up individually but if you have it in the spectrum rainbow mode or just a solid color, it looks great. The lights can be either pretty bright or pretty dim which is nice because I don't like super bright keyboards. It is also pretty drop resistant. I've dropped it from a height of 3 feet (Not on purpose of course) several times and the worst thing that happened was a couple of the keys popped off. I popped them back on and went right back to what I was doing with no problems. Honestly, if you're looking for a cheap mechanical lookalike RGB keyboard, this is the one I'd suggest.

2:40 if you click on the other direction key you can change the collors in certain zones

Had this bundle for ages still works great. Only have 1 negative about it, the media keys are opposite to the label forward/next track goes back and back goes forward minor inconvenience at first but just used to it now

Maybe a late comment but at 2.42 you can choose your own color per zone. you have 6 each i think with function and f6 you can change the zones. don't know if any one in the comments said it already but i coudnt find it soo i'm glad if you red this :p

The DPI on my MasterKeys Lite Mouse is VERY slow and the DPI function has ceased to work, im fairly annoyed but I hope to find the downloads to where I can program it on my computer, I think cooler master has one but their portal I downloaded was very garbage and did not work, so far this video is better then the manufacturers.

Since the rainbow mode is smooth the lighting can obviously have smooth transitions so i suppose that blocky wave mode was made crappy to make you buy more expensive models. This is also probably the reason they didn't include all the effects.

I got this combo today, its pretty good. The RGB is pretty but the keys are a bit heavy to press. Im used to Cherry MX browns keys.

That setting (the red on the right) is weird. When on that setting, hold FN+ F6, then one part of the board will flash white. You can then change the custom color there. Do the same for other zones and tada, you have custom RGB striping.

Hey Joanne , if possible do some takes in a Darkroom to show how strong is the lightning of the keyboard , bought one once and it was not very strong to play in the dark , and most of the reviews dont show that

What's that nifty keyboard holder you're using for the colour presentation? Gotta get me one of those :D Looks like a pretty solid keyboard - Not a fan of "clone/copy" switches because I'm so used to MX Reds...but they do sound interesting, and at least the caps are mx compatible. :)

plz help me i got this combo and ingame i have trouble with the keys when i play unturned and i want to put atechments on a gun i can't push the T to put stuff on it the key doesnt want to register that im holding the button so it goes in out in out in out and not your hold i also got that with the tab and the spacebar i really need help.

Just bought this and im very happy with it :) Thanks for a good review. ** Mouse > I would like another size, little bigger! This mouse is pretty smal! (Last mouse i had: Rival 700) Keyboard > Totally OK! I do not have any problems with it yet. Software mouse? No. Why? I don't even fucking know man... :( ** Rate? 8/10 Totally OK quality! Good lights 70 euros or less for this kit :D
