that llano cooling pad does have 2 steps 1 being at low level, and 2nd being medium level, if you look carefully you can stick your finger into that little hole in there and you get 2 steps.
@@jacobmcclure9844I ended up going with a desktop 4090 system but the Llano was the winner for me too. Just decided way too much noise & cost for the laptop performance. I got the 4090 system for only $400 more than the laptop. Also prefer the scroll wheel on the llano.
dang bro ur temps is too hot btw its seems to me that the g15ae fans are weird for example no cooling pad it runs at maximum speed 7200-6800rpm during timespy, 96 CPU and 86-101 on gpu I once tried a "cooling pad" in a very low temperature room, and I got like 92 cpu and 78-99 on gpu the thing is the fans weren't running at maximum speed, it just hovering around 4-5k rpm
@@SlappdaBoss I got my fans at 100% even with the cooler. I just have both fans spin up to their max speed as soon as either the GPU or CPU hits 85c. With this cooling pad I finally was able to get my original performance. Although since I messed with the liquid metal that's why it's getting slightly worse temps than it should. I've never been able to get back to the original temps I was getting before screwing around with it. But I'm just glad to have my performance back.
@@XxViciousxX well for me I once saw ants near the laptop so I just disassembled the whole laptop and at the end replaced the lm with ptm7950, it works pretty good so far I'm not confident in applying lm so I'll look into that in the future
@@Stiven_Crysis well I'm glad AMD did something about it I did not want to have to be tied to waiting for Dell to give me drivers. Luckily I have the external monitor so that doesn't really affect me but everyone else that doesn't use an external monitor got screwed over. I'm hoping all will be well now. So I can actually recommend this device now (like I said in the video I'm still going to wait until the next drivers come out just to make sure I don't wanna be wrong again lol)
@@XxViciousxX I agree that you should still test that 480Hz screen on a laptop with games for several hours. 24.5.1 should appear on May 20-25. And if it works with that driver from May, then I would be happy to recommend the laptop. Although a 2K 165Hz screen is a better option for that laptop.
