because its not quake. its overwatch with a skin. pro-players still have to play around character abilities. its no longer 100% skill. some characters are trash and others are OP in comparison. QL is superior.
because no one plays quake champions lol. the peak daily concurrent users is like 800 on that game. all though that is a good point that its a match from group play not alot of people usually watch until playoffs.
Tox > Cooller. Again. Brilliant play from Toxic! No brilliant play from Cooller. Although I considered Evil and Rapha better in Q4 and QL, bit of respect lost there.
Bojidar Bogdanov It worths every buck i throw to Bethesda. Game is actually one of those games harder to master, but when you achieve it: You won't leave it. Comparable to Doom 2016,this game is 20x harder to aim and kill.
It's free2play now. But don't expect to be good in one or two weeks. Ive played Quake Live back in the days and was pretty decent in Clan Arena. Now I just startet with Quake Champions for real, and I suck. But damn I know from Quake Live back then, that if I achieve to get the skill level like I got in Quake Live, this will be fking awesome again.
you have to remember it's still in beta, so all the players from a few months ago went away, because it's broken. but I guarantee it, when it's out of beta it's going to have more players than it ever had before
quake builders really fell for the trap all game makers fell for we don't need this pretty maps or exciting new guns, the Q3 and Q4 gameplay was far better
You have to be realistic man, Q3, Q4, and QL are dead. Arena shooters are dead. There's no way the game would do well if it were just a visually updated Q3. Quake Champions isn't even doing that well, but it actually has SOME players. When was the last time you played Quake? Have you seen the player count? I own a QL server currently and I play frequently with my friends; basically nobody else is playing the game. Regardless of if you like it or not, QC needs the whole champions thing to be appealing to new players. If you really think a new Quake game that's just like Q3 is going to do well you're sorely mistaken. Have you seen Reflex Arena? The game is basically an exact copy of Q3 CPMA with prettier graphics and it's dead. Nobody is playing arena shooters anymore.
Portalfreek if you checked the steamcharts at the time of when you wrote your message, you'd see that quake live had as many players as quake champions - less than 1000, lol. qc has a little more than ql now, but still poor numbers.
