@@nebulus3721 That's not why he lost. Showing emotion and affect on game play are different from person to person. He beat primetime rapha in QL @ IEM and showed hell of a lot of emotion through the 5 map series. Just not his day.
Something that I really enjoy about Quake competitors is that even in game, they have little pleasantries. I don't have issues with bm in games but I feel like Quake is a bit different since so many of these players have played against each other for so long and know each other that it's sort of refreshing seeing mutual respect.
Great game from K1llsen, he is showing some really good form here: hitting well, repositions himself quickly and reads into the situation. He seems to be a lot more consistent lately (QC era). My impression is that K1llsen is still a tier away from doing more than just putting up a good fight against rapha and I doubt that he will ever bridge that gap. Who knows though, if he starts to consider some new aspects, or reconsider old ones, then maybe he develops some new intuitions that will take him to a new level. In any case, he is a great player and I wish him the best of luck in future tournaments. Much love from Sweden. P.S: He seemed fatigued after the Vale game, and someone in the comments below pointed out some twitchy fingers so maybe his adrenaline was going a bit high, resulting in a backlash on CK and Awoken.

Mega health spawned at the same time Rapha died, we can see that thanks to the spectator view. Also players can see the match timer and can use that for timing items.
Duels i QC are a great and intense experience, when instead of counting frags, every frag counts. It really brings first person shooter experience to a whole new level. And the thrill is much better. The duel in Q3 was actually a one on one deathmatch, so if you want, you can still setup such game in QC.

@@Guayabero1977 He speaks the truth, quake lost it's popularity, there are no new players at top level, just him, cooler, killsen, everybody else while still very good, are way below these 3. And the fact that he has been number 1 for a very long time is boring for the whole scene.
