Cooper Discoverer STT Pro - Off Road Mud Tire Review - In 4K 

I run 37-12.5-17 Cooper STT Pro's (on ATX Beadlocks) on my JKUR and love them. They hook well on any terrain and clean out the mud and snow awesome.

After researching for a long time I decided to buy the STT Pro because they look very aggressive and no noise on road or off road at all........ they are much much better then the KO2 and Km3 ...... I choose it over Pro comp and km3 and ko2

I have had these tires on my work truck for 2 years and absolutely love them. This is the best mud tire on pavement by far and it handles great in all conditions even heavy rain, snow and ice. They grip so well I find myself using 4wd less. I don’t do off roading other than what I encounter in my day to day life. I have gone to a dump near me that’s not accessible without 4wd in the dry season. I had 12k in logs in a dump trailer and mud up to the axles a couple weeks ago in my f250 and crawled all the way to the back of the dump in 4 low. I don’t think road tires or even most all terrains would have been able to do this. I think even 2wd trucks could benefit having this tire if they go on muddy job sites. Overall I have been constantly impressed

I still love my mastercraft mud tires. They are made by Cooper and they are impressive

Was this a review of the coopers or a video to plug your pro comp mt2's?

How am i just finding out about this tire? Saw them at the local tire shop today. I think they're going to be my next tire.

I wanted these on my Tacoma so I read everything I could find. I saw bad and good reviews about the stt pro tires but still bought them because of the deal I found. For the first 500 miles you better not make any fast movements on the freeway. They will firm up and stability will be normal. For the tread size I was amazed at how little road noise I had AT FIRST. I kept them rotated every oil change BUT that one time I forgot I couldn’t stand the tires due to the noise. When I sold the wheels and tires they had 53000 miles on them. I would have loved to see how far I could have taken them but the noise from the cupping was driving me crazy. I ran 45psi

I have 32" stt pros and they are great off and on road, noise isn't bad either

I heard pro comp more times than I heard cooper.

Will be interesting to see how they do on steep dry and wet rock/slickrock climbs....like Moab and rocky trails like Ouray. I wonder how much they will give up when compared to MTRs.

cooper actually makes a few different tires for other brands... Mickey Thompson, Dick Cepek, Mastercraft, Avon, Starfire.

How long do they last? They cost more than Duratracs on Walmart's site, and I wonder how much better they are off road.

how are these tires road, noise wise, when compare to the stock Goodyear SR-A tires on the RAm 1500's? I'm trying to debate on buying the Michelin Defender LTX or the BF Goodrich A/T KO2 tires. I don't offroad very much but I want to be prepared for Nebraska winter storms.

P 78 16 buckshot wide muddier lol. It will idle thru the mud that you was wide open in trying to clean out those all terrains.!!!

I put 6 Cooper STTs on my truck. 5 of them came apart, sometimes violently. Never run Coopers at speeds above 20.

Think they will be good in clay mud?

Disagree, love my pro-comps… never spun tire, tons of traction on compact snow and ice… I would buy another set of pro-comps, got 5 years out of them, but procomp was bought out and now can’t get them

I in australia there are more cooper carcasses laying around than roos the boys up to top of Oz use bf goodridge mud terrain and no carcasses laying around well not like cooper

Pro comps? Pro comp everything is mid level at best. I had some, not bad but... It's no Toyo, Nitto, Mickey or even these.. I've heard nothing but good things about these, no one even brings up pro comps..

Thanks for ruining a great tire Cooper--- (Cooper STT) was awesome the way it was, reminded me of the toyo mt open country so now you have no true mud tire looks like I will be buying Toyo's or Mickey Thompson MTZ when my stt wear out.

You guys that call that mud need to come down to Florida to find out what real mud is!

Hahahaha! Pro Comp sucks and is just as bad as goodyear mtr when it comes to balancing.

I had these tires and they are complete trash, very noisy and unbalanced, my 4runner was pulling all over the road.
