Want to talk about punishment? What do we say about our prison system then? When I was in high school, they went around the room and asked us all what we wanted to do/be when we graduated. One guy stood up and said he wanted to go to prison because he could get a college education. He had weights,tv, 3 meals a day, hot showers, friends and just as much a chance getting beat up or butt fu**ed as in his neighborhood. He didn't have to pay bills or buy any house supplies, never had to work or worry about what was happening tomorrow. It's a time out... Where is the discouragement? Where is the punishment? When you can say our FU**ING SOLDIERS on the front lines MIGHT get a meal today MIGHT get to shower. Forget a/c and these clowns get all bills paid heaven. Justice is dead, along with any "preventive maintenance" when they got rid of public hanging, firing squad, or the guillotine.

@@camplethargic8 you...do realize there are more crimes than just homicide...right? And that the recidivism rate is almost 2.5x that of Texas in California, which is through where judges being lenient could more competently be compared.

All the more reason to make removing a judge/lawyer easier and to initiate disbarment proceedings. And I believe any disbarment should carry a minimum of 5 years in prison and disbarment should be nationwide, for Life!

A second deputy elsewhere in the county is in deposition as of this morning for a possible tens of millions figure settlement against the county for a injury sustained due to a low bond set by judge to a violent suspect who clearly said when he gets out he was going to target the deputy that arrested him. Well he did and I can assure the county will settle for low seven figures.

Glad officer pig face got shot. Apparently this is what it takes to get folks in uniform to truly speak out towards the judges in this country. Sacrificial lambs are necessary some times. It’s unfortunate officers let it get this bad before going to media. I blame them just as much as the criminals and judges, as they signed an oath to protect our country, and they have been turning cheek like cowards for decades. Unfortunate, but necessary...
