That Cayenne is the 3.6 V6 base model. It only has the turbo badge.

No you don't know your Porsches - True fact. That's based on thr VR6 enginge, but to Porsche spec. There is no turbo. The spare is inflatable and has a compressor there with it. That 330i also has no turbo, but does have a different intake than the 325 -- and more HP in the overall spec.

Looked like the BMW radiator was pushed into the pulleys. Maybe it wasn't running as bad as you thought.

All E46 BMWs were all naturally aspirated. Also, a turbo Cayenne from that generation would have badges inside (in the gauges and IIRC in the gear lever surround) indicating it's a turbo. In other words, Randy, TK''s full of BS.

I believe the second gen Porsche only offered the turbos on the v8s and that's a n/a 6cy so its probably just the 280 hp vw touareg motor somone just slapped a turbo badge on it

Those spare tires have being used by Porsche for decades. The electric pump is for inflating the spare. One last thing: plz drop this friend. He’s knowledge of cars is so great, that he hear the turbo sssshhhh noise in a non turbo car. 🤣🤣🤣 Definitely he brings the worst from people.

All E46’s are N/A and the Cayenne isn’t a Turbo, it’s just the badge. The Turbo comes with a 4.8 V8 Turbo

TK is so dumb. None of the E46 BMWs were turbo. They were all M54 powered. The 330 has the 228hp M54B30.

Randy, I have a 2011 Touareg and it is wonderful vehicle the Porsche is a step up and you will surprised at how well it drives. Do not hesitate get the Blue Porsche.

Randy that 330i looks super clean - looks really good considering how many people run them right into the ground. As someone said before, the radiator looks like it's nearly touching the engine which is probably why it's squealing. Really a nice car that you could fix up and sell as a mint, stock example.

He says "yep" to everything. Porsche is just a normally aspirated v6... Non turbo. I think the same motor in the base model vw touareg. The spare is a expandable type. That also wasn't a trickle charger but a air pump for the spare

Theres an air compressor for the tire right next to it, my 05 Cayenne has it.

With exception of diesels there is no factory turbo charged e46's , I think you're getting it confused with an e9x 335

The Porsche has a space saving spare, there is an air pump in the car and you inflate it and it unfolds and is about the same size as one of the normal tires

Thanks for putting these out! Because of these videos, I learned about Copart, and picked up my new vehicle yesterday (A 2006 Saab 9-7X for those who care). It's hard to believe how many cars get totaled that don't need more than just a couple little parts (Mine needs a bumper and headlights). It's a shame to see such nice things totaled, but there are tons of good projects out there. Thanks for showcasing some of them

The spare tire of the cayenne unfolds when it’s aired up, then the outer part actually becomes the sidewall. It’s a vr6 no turbo and no air suspension. Had one and it was actually very reliable.

The reason the spare tire looks so weird is because when you inflate it, it pops out and forms to a bigger tire and when you deflate it, it shrinks back to the size you saw for better storage.

Inflatable spare. Air it up. Use it. Deflate when done. Space saver spares were big in the 70’s. Mustangs, mid size cars. Google may have pics if you look.

That Porsche Cayenne Turbo would make a good looking daily for you Randy. They are solid, reliable and comfortable cars with plenty of performance. And the parts are mostly at reasonable Volkswagen price levels, not Porsche moneypit levels. Now you know that it does more than just 'Run', I'd try to get this at a 'steal' price.

Cayenne has spare donut that pumps up by the compressor in back. It takes about 50 psi of air. I have 2005 cayenne with 230k miles

The interion mirror on that BMW is a common problem that the LCD (liquid crystal display) breaks do to heat inside the vehicle and then bleeds into the mirror and that mirror is the type that turns dark if someone behind you and their lights start to blind you.
