The foil is to keep the sun out. The ac only keeps the rv 20 degrees cooler than outside. So when it's not 105 out the ac stays at 85. The foil is supposed to help
When I worked construction on night I would tinfoil the windows to keep the light out while I slept and it also keeps heat down on them hot summer days
I'd slide on past those trailers. I've repaired enough of them to be shy of big repairs. I feel your right about the first Ford pick up. The second ford truck may have a future as a farm truck or a spare truck for a small company. Given the price of trucks you may need to strap your wallet down tight while bidding but hoping you have all the luck in the world buying them. Great video.
I got one in my 11 F150. I bought 8 coils off amazon (the old ones were sparking) and put 1000s of miles on it. Over 200K. Runs like a brand new truck. It has max tow, had no problem with 10K. (rated for 11.1). The exhaust also sounds like a race car when it starts up (no clue what the last owner put). My neighbor thinks it sounds better than his 3 yr old vette .
Great video as usual. There are a few vehicles that are in the background that I think have made a number of background appearances . That Honda and a Buick Casada that shows up from time to time in the background.
I agree on running the truck through the frame shop, if nothing else but for piece of mind. It looks decent enough to repair, and you wouldn’t need the big guard for a work truck. I’m surprised that cars have been there that long. I lived near a tow lot, and at the end of the year any unclaimed car was auctioned off. Nothing on the was there years.
@John Ferguson you guys are way too picky. He sounds like he has a cold…. A little grace goes a long way, it’s not even like you can’t hear him. He literally releases a video a day, like please. If you guys even knew what it’s like to edit these videos, you’d really not make insensitive comments like this.
Bummer thought that prowler had potential. F350 not bad make a good truck! Like the fords today! I do remember the Honda wow can’t believe it’s still there!
I like the F-250 no useless power options navigation and screens to break. This 2013 F-250 will outlast any new pickup being that its basic and now electronic crap to break.
Dig Prowler travel trailer was nice until whoever stole probably just for electronics & lights for quick buck. 16:08 2013 F250 with longbed & roll back tonneau cover good work fix front suspension which doesn't need much replace front passenger side fender & leave hood alone but definitely replace bumper grill guard.
Like that F 250 work Truck. Easy fix. Like to see you fix it. That truck would go for more then 30 grand where I live lol. That flatbed f 250 would make someone a good work truck. Put a welder in the back along with a few other things
I just bought a new travel trailer. I don't like slides, they eventually leak and often break. Also I don't buy any RV with metal siding. It gets beat up too easy.
i like that f250 fits 3 in front and back seats don't see that too often I'd buy if i saw something like that if i had the money. trx is nice. i like late 1990s early 2000s f250/f350.
Randy I seen nothing after the body mount on the F350 but that's not to say that there isn't any damage but I would venture to say that there is a kink before the mount which would total it out, Personally I think the truck is worth buying because anything in front of the front wheels or behind the rear wheels should not effect the driveability
Way to go randy that awesome selling that rv was a good move that what I honestly want to do is buy items injoy it for a week and sell it for profit 📈 and move on to the next item also keep up the great vlog I really do like what you show and thank you :)
In Arizona, a lot of rv owners us the " foil " in the windows. RV a/c s are not very efficient in the heat out here. Rodents like rv wiring , very hard to keep them out.
The frame needs pulled to the passenger side on that f250 but it shouldn't cost to much to get it pulled. looks like it got pushed over at the divers side a little. needs pulled about an inch or so to the pass side.
A frame machine in the other side of your shop would be amazing. You'd be able to bid on a whole bunch of new cars that others couldn't buy. I'm sure you could learn from RU-vid and trial and error.
I'd look into if the f250 was towing when the collision occured. If not, it actually seems like putting a bid on. I own that same drive train and it's got tons of life left!
Randy you need to buy both truck if you can because you have all the parts to take both truck and build one new truck do a frame off and I believe you can get a clean title for the 36000 mile truck but you have to check your state on that
That f350 has the 6.2 I pretty sure my dad has a f350 single cab frame and chassis with a delivery truck box on the back and it has the 6.2 but that truck pulls like a beast for being 10 tons it would be a great work truck for someone
I have a 6.2L in an 11 F150 (rare option). Even though very high miles it is almost like a new truck. Very fast, almost like a sportscar if you hammer it
I think my biggest concern on the Prowler RV would be do the slides work and what not… you can’t even work or be inside that thing without working slides.
@Autoauctionrebuilds , The F250 Truck 🛻 that had the Bull Bar , Nudge Bar . It had Army Strng on Licence plate . My question is do you have to pay to have a license plate like that ?
Randy great video again. . I was thinking you said you do mot ned a work truck but you know someone that does need one for towing how about monkey wrench Mike that would be a good truck for him. Just an idea .
the f250s dont have 5.0s(thats an f150 for trucks only engine) being a 2013 itd have a 6.2 a 6.7 powerstroke or a 6.8 v10 this has the 6.2 and yes its similar to the coyote there great engines the 6.2 is used in the 11-14 raptor as well but its supercharged
I looked at a few F250's for towing but not sure about the 5.0. Also checked out the RAM with the 5.7. I don't want to get a diesel but might have too as I think these two options seem under powered for pulling up to 6500lbs.
No F250 has a 5.0. It has the 6.2. It is a very rare option in an F150. I have one in my 11. One of the most reliable and indestructible engines ever made. It is like a beefed up crown vic motor.
@@alb12345672 I think it was the F150 I was looking at but after an F250 but they only come with the 6.7 Diesel. I think the F150 would struggle to pull the weight I'm looking at.
@@2DogsVlogs F250s come with the 6.2 or 7.3 gas and the 6.7 diesel. The 6.2 is very tow capable and the 7.3 even more. But above 13K or so you probably have to go Diesel. My 6.2L F150 says it can pull 11.1K, the 250s with that engine go up to 14K (obviously more than the engine to towing). Also pulling 11.1K wouldn't leave much , tongue is probably 1000 and the truck has a 1450 max payload. Truck is 6K. The F150 has a 17300 GCWR
Let me know if you get the 4 by 4 Ford with the low miles, I have been hunting rebuilt titles for a few months. Trying to get something for my disabled father and to help with a budget build project. I like the long bed. Let me know if you rebuilt it and sell it. I would like to know how to get to your lot. lol
it would cost you repair one like about 49000 to fix it up and get into it more you pf what you your going to for it now .plus you take the outer metal of and redo it to get the dents out of to make look more better for bidding on this you more likely may have to end up take off cost about 25,900 for take deal to buy it . I think it would be that much to get it .
