Hi 🙂 My wife and I were in Copenhagen last week our first time to Denmark. We absolutely loved the city and food the city offers. Your videos were a great way to get ready for our trip. You two are super informative and fun to watch. Thank you and keep the great videos coming. 😀
Thanks for watching Ken, so glad to hear that we were able to help you prepare for your trip and we hope you loved Copenhagen as much as we do. Come back soon! 😀
I live in Denmark and I love the way you explain our things here in Denmark. 😍 in danish Jeg bor i Danmark, og jeg elsker den måde, du forklarer vores ting her i Danmark på.😍
I love street food culture ... almost as much as I like your videos! I love 2nd hand shopping for clothing and garage sales which I just learnt is what "Loppemarked" means in English.
As a Dane. You just convinced me to go there and try out empanada. I've not actually been to reffen before though I live in Copenhagen. But I will this spring.
@@RobeTrotting It depends a lot on who and where they do it. in buenos aires it is not so common to make them with potatoes, that is more common in the north of the country. both versions are very delicious👌
@@kriss3d you have to try everything, but I was just thinking this the other day that if you really want to try food from a country you have to try homemade food, I feel that if you go to a restaurant it doesn't really have that essence of the country.
That’s great! Hope you have an awesome trip planned - we’ll keep the Copenhagen content coming and hopefully bring some more inspiration. Check out our guides too - we have a free guide with map to all the places I’m the video. Many will still be open in October 😊
Yeah, I know the difference and almost ordered that one but it’s not what I wanted at the time. To be fair in English they’re all “hotdogs” so I don’t see an error since I was speaking English haha.
Hej Gays Nice Video. On my “Town” Living 11 km North from CPH. Kongens Lyngby, Lake and forrest. It was not a Hot Dog, was a Sausage with Bread. But i don`t knew the Banegaarden 😢 Selv om jeg har arbejde på den anden side af sporerne i mange år. And Peters Pølser, was my View, from my Office on 1. Floor in a blue workcontainer., in 2011
Turn back the time to 1986 last time I lived in Copenhagen and Denmark, no such thing as street food, only hot dog stand. But was at least something I could afford.
@@dancehalllyrics1303"On 7 April 1766, Emperor Joseph II declared the Prater to be free for public enjoyment, and allowed the establishment of coffee-houses and cafés, which led to the beginnings of the Wurstelprater."
@@luffegasen7711, for some weird reason, when I googled it yesterday, the top result coming up was what I wrote. Googling it today, it states what you write as the top result (when googling the exact same thing). When googling “Is Tivoli the second oldest amusement park in the world”, it still states that I’m right.
Dear Derek and Mike, just wondering who does these subtitles? I can clearly read, that they are not able to spell Danish location names, not to mention the names of the dishes - totally rubbish for the most. Otherwise, I enjoy watching your videos :-)
They’re autogenerated from RU-vid (probably AI) so I’m sure there are some funny mistakes and overall poor quality haha. Thanks for watching though and so glad you’re enjoying our videos 😃🇩🇰
Hi, just saw you recommending Hello Fresh, ok BUT when going to their site you cannot see the packages before giving them your info, that is not OK I think in 2023 and there are no contact number that one can call, change-very change. BUT apart from that I really enjoy yur video's BR Alan
Not food, but if you like beer, i Can recommend bootleggers, rigth nekst to Torvehallerne, like to go there after som god food, and try som beers from there tasting menu,
Banegården: ba-ne-går-en. You would increase your understandability if you pronounce all syllables in Danish words ;-) Anyway, I' knew only half of those fine eating places, so I'll have my city-dwelling daughter show me .
Ty. Streetfood.. Not excactly our greatest feat as danes. Reffen.. Good food. But its (mostly)streetfood-types from other countries. "real" danish streetfood is basically smørrebrød(but you would most likely not eat it on the street. you would bring it to a place where you can sit down at a table, with forks and knifes and all that shit, indoors most of year..) and what you can buy in a pølsevogn.. Rest is import. Fair said. Some of the "imports" have been here 20-30 years so I gues theyre kinda danish at this point in time??
This is superficial of a guide. You really do not mention anything about all the vendors in the locations, or how many you have tried or anything. I also find you two very much like used car salesmen for Denmark. Denmark is not as great for foreigners that do not have a network ofLGBQ+ people to join in. In fact it is quiet lonely for those of us who are not fitting into such a community, and quite foreigner unfriendly.
Watch it again, slowly if necessary, and you’ll see us mention several vendors. You should make your own videos since you seem to have so many great ideas! We definitely acknowledge that Denmark isn’t perfect, and we share our personal experience - if that’s not your personal experience, again, you should make your own content and share yours. No one is stopping you.
Tbh coudus to the two of you , somehow your vblogs / infomercials are done better than , and explains more than when other people does content simulair to this . Now get your asses out of Copenhagen and do Denmark and not Copenhagen
Not a chorizo or I would have said that. In english it’s all “hotdog” but I know what you’ll call a “Danish hotdog” and I’ve had it many times, just not this day. Feel free to knitpick if you want, but since it’s in English I said “hotdog” haha.
