the CoPilot is a super smart easy to use CLIP to hold your DJI radio on a tripod or light-stand in the field, where you can quickly single handed click on and off your radio.
Thank you, Mr. Halbur. From the very moment we began to analyze our test subjects, Co-Pilot™ had to meet the following pillars: Physical Health & Safety, Flight Precision, Multitasking and Security... and its design had to complement the aesthetics of the controller. Countless iterations later, I'm pleased to say, mission accomplished. I invite you to examine in greater detail the benefits derived at www.satori-aerial.com. Again, thank you. Gary J. Clayman, Founder & Chief Pilot, Satori Aerial LLC
Thank you, Mr. Hayat. Co-Pilot™ represents the evolution of design... my team and I worked in concert with over 120 remote pilots throughout the course of design. A great number of variables were analyzed (including data derived from disabled remote pilots) and subsequently integrated into the final product. It was an honor working with these remote pilots, as their invaluable feedback is represented in its design. Yes, a stable tripod is a must. That said, we identified a tripod that functions exceptionally well with Co-Pilot™. Next week, please circle back to www.satori-aerial.com and take a look at our catalog (tripod, launch/landing pad and monitor/tablet hoods). We think you'll be pleased with the quality, functionality, and attractive price points. I/we truly appreciate your compliment. Gary J. Clayman, Founder & Chief Pilot, Satori Aerial LLC
Thank you for your inquiry, Lars J. At the present time, Co-Pilot™ is compatible with DJI Phantom™ 3-4, Inspire™ 1-2 and select Matrice™ series. Next month, however, we will be unveiling Co-Pilot™ for Mavic™ series. Feel free to check out www.satori-aerial.com. Again, thank you for your time and consideration. All the best... Cheers, Gary J. NIce idea, but didn't see or hear it "click" into place. $50 is a bit steep for a $1 piece of plastic. Should be $20 to prevent competition. $50/ea will motivate someone to design and 3D print their own, then share the design on Thingiverse. Then everyone will print their own at the library for $3.
Tom its a pretty firm click into place, but it don't "click" its mostly to keep it in place, its not firm enough to tilt the tripod and expect the radio to stay on, so you can't carry the tripod with the radio as one. LOL I thought he said $40, but yeah, thingiverse, thats a problematic situation when it comes to pricing products.
Thank you for your assessment, S Newland. Co-Pilot™ represents the evolution of design and redefines the very manner in which a remote pilot interacts with their compatible DJI™ drone. The Co-Pilots™ offered on our site are injected molded, not 3D printed as seen in this interview. My team conducted a thorough CMA, and all indicators suggest our MSRP is competitively positioned. Satori Aerial LLC is a Veteran owned, closely held business, and Co-Pilot™ is designed and proudly made in the USA. Please let that sink in for a minute. I personally invite you, S Newland, to give it a try. If, within 30-days of your purchase and you are not completely satisfied, I will personally offer you a generous 120% return--at this point I assume all of the risk! Yours sincerely and respectfully, Gary J Clayman, Founder & Chief Pilot, Satori Aerial LLC.
If this were something they were selling by the millions -- yeah you could do it for $20. To get a device printed would cost you $30, and it would be made of a more brittle plastic. You'd have to buy and put on the bottom part to the tripod yourself, $10 for that... So $50 isn't too unreasonable.
I appreciate your rationale, Mr. Masci. From day one, Satori Aerial LLC was committed to Co-Pilot™ being "Designed and Made in USA." As a veteran-owned business, this passion and obligation to preserving/creating American jobs was shared across the board. As a result, our costs are ~40% more than had I elected to design and manufacture Co-Pilot™ overseas. Under no circumstances will I compromise on quality just to save ~40% in costs. I hope you come to enjoy Co-Pilot™ as much as we do. All the best... Cheers, Gary J Clayman, Founder & Chief Pilot, Satori Aerial LLC
