Joining copper valleys sections at the top joint with a double-locked sweep seam is an elegant alternative to soldering or other types of folding techniques. Commonly used in Europe, this flashing technique is becoming more popular in the US. This was demonstrated at the Slate Roofing Contractors Association 2018 conference held in Grove City, PA by Orion Jenkins of Jenkins Slate Masters Inc.
