I'm all for good cops who protect and serve, but the Levy County Sheriff's Department sucks and has a terrible reputation for being corrupt. These are deadly serious crimes they continue to ignore.😱🤯 I am shocked and furious that they didn't arrest John for pulling a gun on this family. Why are the sheriffs so afraid of John Crook? I don't understand that sheriff department. The only thing I'd have to say in orange county is someone pointed a gun at me and there would be charges. And it's happened. They don't need footage to make an arrest. The state attorney can pick that up or not but the sheriff can do their part. Makes no sense to me.

Citizens can certainly share their concern with the sherriff department until the sherriff dept is forced to do something. Thank you to all the wonderful residents of Otter Creek who stopped to try to help out. There are truly some special and amazing residents in Otter Creek.

I hate what happened to Travis, his lady, and his daughter. It is crazy when 2 people and a child had a firearm pointed at them, and the cops do NOTHING! Why does the lady have to give her name? Not like they both are so upset they are crying over seeing the turtle sign. The supervisor is useless. Has a picture of exactly where they said John was standing. So proof he was there where they said. Damn this is just crazy. Why won't the state welfare services take the child from that cesspool? Why does the state health department allow those living conditions? I am so glad there are so many good people in Otter Creek for Jeremy and George. ❤

This is unacceptable. Deanna said the same thing I said a while back. What are the sheriffs waiting for? Does someone need to be shot at before they make an arrest? No one's life should be put in danger. My heart goes out to that little girl. Something that was supposed to be a fun time turned out to be a horrible nightmare for them. Back in the day if you called the cops and said the neighbor pulled a gun on them they would be arrested and have to go to court to see if they was guilty or innocent. Now all you ever hear is did you get it on video? If it happens so fast no one has the time to get their phone and try to record it. I hope the sheriffs do something about this mess and not just sweep it under the rug. George I was dying laughing when you told them that Deanna and you want to sit in your car and point hairdryers at the cars. That was golden😂😂
