Jeremy is flying back and forth between ODDer Creek and Hale$ Headquarters on a weekly basis just to keep the corrupt town hall accountable
Jeremy has been flying back and forth on a weekly basis to care for the lawsuit he has filed against the town
His interest are in protecting the town from the corrupt individuals that have been running it into the ground
The new Mayor has uncovered boxes of corruption in the town hall office, from theft to missing recordings
BUT there are also boxes of files and recording missing from the office
Russ The Suss was seen moving boxes from the office in his truck
He has now admitted that he has all the Town Hall files at home
Jeremy will be having his lawyer file for a search warrant

I am a labor lawyer, Russ subjected both himself and the town to a charge of sexual harassment by calling a town employee “Honey.” He did this in public and during official town business. In my opinion his purpose was to attempt to humiliate and belittle her because she was challenging him. Belinda should file a complaint. That should be grounds for his removal. A suit like that could effectively bankrupt the town.

I'm a wedding/event florist, unfortunately $100 won't get very much. I would suggest sending a plant, it lasts longer! Orchids are especially pretty for sympathy gifts. WAIT! A couple of recommendations: 1) an inexpensive camera system in the office so that any official business is recorded, even if, and especially if, it's not done in writing. Would also be good from a liability standpoint. Though you could always just set it up to not record audio, only video, if there's any legal issues there. FL is a 2 party consent state so you'd have to post notice at each of the entrances. Of course you'd also have to have it voted on. 2) if not already, have all physical records pick-ups signed for prior to handing them over. For instance the meeting packet.

Belinda has the patience of a saint. At one time it was as if a flickering of a lightbulb was over Russell's head just before it 'exploded' when he opened his mouth and said 'I have every file at home'. He actually contradicts himself when he was mayor he never showed any accounts but wanted it approved yet now he gets a financial statement but demands to see every bill. Then he even tried to adjourn that meeting. What is he on?

My hats off to Belinda for being so calm and polite! When someone outside my family calls me "Honey", I immediately tell them that I have a name and it isn't Honey! Casual labor costs was money that the council voted to pay Belinda and Therese when they had worked for nothing cleaning out the mess Mary had made of her office and all the ignored paperwork in there plus phone calls they had to deal with. Russ was not showing up to meetings at that time so he has no idea what casual labor cost fund was set up to cover.

Don and others don’t want to raise the taxes, but the taxes will go up no matter what. Even if the town dissolves, that means that the county will have to provide the services. Every town has to pay county taxes, if the county takes over the town county taxes will increase to help offset the addition of the town.

Whenever I've been on committees, boards, or councils, each member is given a copy of the agenda, minutes, financials, and any other pertinent papers, at the start of the meeting. I would take notes on my agenda. They all went home with me so that I could refer back to them, as needed. The master copies of these items remained in the archives. Some members would throw them away each month. That's what I understood Russ to be referring to. But you may find other things at his house.

When I was early in my career my first mentor said if you are the smartest person in the room you are in the wrong room. Russ is the person who if they heard that advice would say I don't need to be in another room I am fine here. Now that the people in the room has changed. Russ wants to keep the status quo.

Things to learn from this vid: Don focused on $100 for Flowers for a possible Death right in the middle of discussing the Tens of Thousands of Dollars around the water situation. Russ wants to waste Town Hall time, paper and ink to get hard copies because he don't do emails. (Charge Him a quarter a page). Serious question, i wish during Public Comments that someone would ask the Council how many days or even hours each of them has put in to 1: Cleaning out the hoarded junk/old equipment/stale food from The Buildings (i don't mean when Russ got Richard to help him take "Mary's Personal Belongings" 2 Sorting out the mess in the office - the stacks of paper, folders, Stationery supplies etc. I'm fairly confident that Don and Russ put in 0 hours.

Certainly, he avoids using email as he wants to avoid leaving a digital trail, but his situation is already compromised. The town's prudent action would be to send the email regardless. Moreover, they should reinforce it by sending a certified letter that requires a signature. This would generate more substantial evidence of his receipt of the communication. It raises suspicions that he abruptly abstains from email now, considering his prior extensive email history. The courts will likely provide the numerous emails he sent before; his reluctance to use email currently is likely due to his awareness of being exposed.
