After 15 years of law enforcement under my belt I always noticed the one huge thing movies get wrong. No one does paperwork and the officer always goes right back to work after discharging their firearm. I guess the paperwork and reality of a shooting investigation and having to be cleared of the incident would make movies way too long.

At around 8 minutes in when Horgan talks about doing "reversals" reminds of an episode of COPS from many years ago. I can't recall where it was. The narcs had busted some guys dealing heroin out of a motel room. As they were processing the room, the phone rang. For a second they kind of stood there wondering what to do. One of the cops then answered the phone and it was someone wanting to score. So of course they said come on over, and it happened at least three times!

@@fortitudetn In my 2nd favorite COPS episode, the cop stops a driver that is weaving all over the road. Its obvious the guy is totally shitfaced. The cop asked the guy 3 or 4 times if he had any weed. Dude was so wasted he forgot there was a joint shoved between his ear and hair.

I was a narcotics detective and when I was in the academy I was one of only two cadets at the time to shoot a smiley face at the range. Also, I did take a chainsaw to a drug raid. Have a nice day!😎🇺🇸

Rodfather - my fellow instructors & I were able to shoot decent smileys, usually at 15 yds. but I've never seen anything as clean at 25 yds as gibson's. and certainly not w/o proper eye alignment while spanking the trigger and blinking, as Gibson did in the movie.

Love that emergency service humor. What each service gets for Xmas dinner? Ambulance: fuel court turkey sandwich with questionable mayonnaise. Police: Burger King served by a grumpy spotty teenager. Fire: Banquet bird stuffed into two more birds raped in bacon with pigs in blankets a medaly of veg, roast potatoes parsnips and carrots. Finished off with Xmas pudding, mince pies and Xmas cake with brandy butter and cream.

HUGE IDEA I am a NISSAN salesman after 5 yrs in the Army 88M. One of our most prolific sales trainers known through the industry is Joe Verde. As Vietnam Vet, he was a helicopter Crewchief Hueys I think. Have him in watching and reacting and explain car sales movies like The Goods, Used Cars and Car Dogs. Retired Baltimore Officer here too!!!! ❤️ And thus: the legitimacy of high capacity magazines. When your in a gunfight, you inevitably won’t be that accurate. No, you don’t shoot them in the f-ing leg, or finger or anything as stupid like that. I had a family member who suggested police should shoot people in the leg when confronted with a deadly force situation. 😳………………….😳😳😳😳😳……………….😵‍💫 I got nothin’………….
