I've been following your Learn to Code Course and would love to see additional lessons, especially possessing! It's something I've been really struggling with. I ended up using tutorials to get that set up and found it easier from there, but I really hate relying on tutorials
Thank you so much for your Assets, I own NPC and Animal. Thanks for maintaining them and developing them! I don't know maybe some things are already out there and I haven't gotten to them but I'll write a couple suggestions. 1. Support multiplayer in NPC and Animal. 2. Animal breeding system, like in Black Desert, where you can catch a level 1 horse and combine it with another horse and get different characteristics as a result of breeding. 3. Farm system, like in Minecraft, where you can breed deer or sheep and get resources from them, wool, meat and fertilizer. 4. The system of pets (not combat) and the battle between pets, in fact, auto-battle, more like Pokemon GO. 5. The pumping system, for example, if the wolf killed a player or another animal, it increases the level, or over time his level grows, and when you reach for example 10 level, he can become the boss of the location, than need restrictions, such as 5 level can become a limited number of wolves, but the 9 level can be only 3 wolves, and only one boss. 6. The system of expanding the boundaries of animals. For example, with population growth wolves cover more territory, or if they are exterminated by a species from the north, they can move the territory to the south. 7. Pigeon mail (or from eagles). Where a player sends a bird and it actually travels the distance and delivers some information to another player.
A concise tutorial for adding custom animations and clothing/hair physics would be very helpful. Multiplayer support/server function would also be amazing.
Hey Coqui, I really love your videos, they are very well done. I am doing a VR project and was looking to see if you knew of a UE dev that specializes in that and if they have tutorials. If you have any or could make some, it would be great. I am currently starting a vr game and will be changing the hands to full body along with adding running and walking motions. Please help if you can...Cheers!
Love your content and excited to see more! I would love to learn more about the potential of both making renowed games such as what you have suggested going step by step explaining why and how you do it - short format and it would be amazing to get more high concept videos on topics such as optimization/ data assets and so on. I am so greatful to the work you have put! Much better than the udemy courses I have tried.
So, I think when it comes to the lets create series you should not do that; Reason being is that there are already a TON of those out on the internet, your lets learn how to code class is not. I would be subscribed to you for much longer if you continue to teach in the learn to code format. One of the most frustrating things about learning unreal engine is that in their documentation they heavily stress that ALL games need to be built for multiplayer in mind but every freaking lets create series or anything of the sort completely leave it out! There are barely any resources on multiplayer and it actually being used correctly. There are even less resources on how to plug it into steam and have all those features work, voice chat in games is also not mentioned at all. My point is, there are a lot of very large gaps in the development community and your classes are presented in such a way that they really foster education, it would be a waste of your talent to make temple run, pac man, etc; Those courses also are way too long and most people can't properly learn from huge courses like that.
