This is amazing! One thing I'm confused about, however, is where the meshes for the buildings are coming from. Are these hand modeled/gathered from a pack or does PCG come with building meshes by default. If it comes with the buildings by default, is there a way to swap them out for hand modeled buildings? Thanks for all of your tutorials and invaluable knowledge!
Those buildings all come with PCG by default. You can swap them for your own custom buildings easily. I have a step by step tutorial on how to do that :)
I'm doing a very similar project, however I'm stuck on how can I place the buildings on the tiles. I'm a beginner in gamedev and procedural generation, do you have any resources I could look into to learn how to do it?
@@pacmaybz If your roads are splines you can get the location along the spline and then offset it to the right / left of the road. then test whether that location is viable for your building :)
