Hi Fraser. Thanks for dropping by. We really appreciate your support. I (Rob) must admit that I did a double take when I saw your Coral cabin video and thought, Fraser must be in Australia at the moment. Are you doing any other cruises her or just the Coral?
Thank you for a lovely tour of the ship we sail on her in September after several cruises were cancelled. We have sailed Princess many times so we can't wait to be back on board
Hi Diana. We hope you have a fabulous cruise in September. This was our first Princess cruise but will definitely look at Princess again for future cruises. We have a P&O cruise booked in September and a Royal Caribbean for NYE. Currently considering the Queen Elizabeth for Valentines Day (well sort of, it returns on Valentines Day). Take Care.
Hi Janelle, thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. We think the Coral Princess would be a great idea for a honeymoon and congratulations in advance. Hope the day and the honeymoon are just perfect for you both.
Hi Brad. Thanks for the comment. She is a bit older but a cruise is what you make of it and it's more about the people. We had a great time on the Coral and will be back on her again when the schedules permit.
Hi Mairi. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. We would love to do a world cruise but that will have to wait until retirement I think. Enjoy yours when it comes around and Happy Cruising to you too.
Hi Kim and thanks for watching. A world cruise would really be something special. Out of our sights at the moment as we are both still working but we hope you have an absolutely fantastic time visiting all the exciting places. We think Coral Princess is a great ship to do that on. As you will be on it for a long time it is small enough to feel intimate but not too small to be crowded and not too big to feel like you're taking an epic journey in a floating shopping mall. Have a fabulous time and please tell us the highlights when you return - or even along the way if you like, would love to follow the journey with you.
Hi guys and thanks for watching. We would love to do 28 days on this ship but I think we'll have to wait until retirement. Have a fantastic cruise and let us know what you thought when you get back.
We cruised on the coral princess a few years ago, to Panama and Costa Rica. The Churchhill lounge was the only smoking area on the ship at that time. If you didn’t smoke in the Churchhill lounge you had to go outside at the end of the deck seven I believe…
Hi Fran. Cruising the Panama is one of the cruises that is right up there on our 'to do' list. From what we see, Princess are one of the better ones to do it with too. Although no smoking is allowed inside on Australian cruises Ali thought she could smell smoke in the Churchill Lounge. Either it was the ghost of Winston or, more likely, it was in the walls from US cruising as it was only the third Coral cruise out of Brisbane we were on.
Thanks for making such great informative videos about the Coral. You have answered lots of my questions I had about our trip next week. You guys are a lot of fun and make great travel guides
Hi Gaz. Thanks for dropping by and your lovely comments. We are coming to the end of the Coral series now but we are going on the Pacific Encounter in September so will start a new series then. We hope you have a fantastic time on the Coral as she is such a fantastic ship. Enjoy your cruising.
We have 49 days to go so it looks like you're on an earlier one than us (24th September). Have a great cruise Gaz and please let us know what you think of her. Can't wait to have a look ourselves.
Hi Gaz. Sorry for the delay in replying, really busy at the moment. There is a bus service but it takes about 1hr 40 mins. have a look at Transinfo Journey Planner. Best bet if you're not driving is Uber which I believe is around $35 - $40 from the City.
Hi Gail. Thanks for dropping by and for leaving a comment. It was a beautiful ship and we can't wait for an opportunity to get back on board. Take care.
Really good presentation we are doing the first cruise from Sydney on the 22nd of August which unfortunately has been altered Also booked on next year’s world cruise in June. Having done previous voyages on the Sea Princess I am looking forward to this ship Hope they done sell it off cannot do a long voyage without walking around deck 7 each morning
Hi Ian. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. I saw that there were some changes to the itineraries which is unfortunate. Hope everything works out OK though. World cruise would be fantastic but it will have to wait until retirement which, unfortunately, is approaching way too quickly. Not that we're not looking forward to the adventures, just not wanting to get any older. We're on the Pacific Encounter in September for a week though and then the Quantum of the Seas for NYE so plenty to look forward to. Take care and happy cruising.
Did you happen to visit the explorers lounge at night? I am wondering how night "clubby" it us or if it is, such as dj or band and do they play dance music from 80s , 90s and 2000s or just the thumping dance beat stuff?
