I'm glad the review was helpful. One of the reasons why I created this channel was to provide honest autocross-tested reviews to help people make informed choices for their builds. Being comfortable behind the wheel is key. You might also want to consider a harness. The combination of a good seat and a good harness makes a huge difference.

@@warhorseracing Yea, I got all that in the works. I'm getting a 5 point from Pyrotect, but probably just use 4 points. 911 Motorsports will make me a harness bar, and help me out with details. It won't be FIA, but that's fine, as I won't be doing anything at that level with the car.

I have a local competitor (and good friend lol) that uses his EK9 Civic as his Daily. He has a set of stock seats he runs during winter and his day to day, and he'll swap a Corbeau Bucket for races. It's kinda a hassle, but he says it's 100% worth the 4 bolt effort to be able to be planted during events. May be an option for ya to consider as well!

Thank you! Having a seat that can recline (and tilt forward) is a great option for a daily driver/autocross car with a back seat. Luckily, there are several good options that have more bolstering than OEM seats.

@@DriftyBits The Corbeau seats go in and out really quickly. I also know people who only replace the driver's seat with a fixed-back seat in their daily driver/autocross cars.

Based on my experience with Corbeau seats, I think you'll be very happy with the quality and performance.

Thank you. All 4 of my standard size seats fit me the same. I've emailed Corbeau questions in the past and I've always gotten a fast and detailed response. I imagine they would want to know about the issue you had with your seats. Have you heard of other people having the same issue with the wide version?

@@warhorseracing I actually talked directly to a Corbeau rep about it, and he was going to look into it. We showed him a range of wide seats and most ranged from fitting a 40" waist to some that would fit a 44" I actually traded a friend his seat for him because mine was smaller than his. Both were brand new outta the box. Lol. The rep we talked to (we have a Corbeau factory right here in Utah) was going to look at their molds and see what happened.

@@DriftyBits If I see people using wide Forza seats at my events, I'll ask them if they've had the same issue. It's certainly something Corbeau should address. When you hear back from Corbeau, please let me know what they say (and what they intend to do to fix the issue).

Thank you! Adding a harness definitely helps, especially if you don't fit tightly in the seat. Or if you prefer to have your shoulders pinned back against the seat when driving (I do). I've got more videos coming soon. You can never have too many Mustangs!

I did not purchase the optional inflatable lumbar support. It might help for long drives, but I can't say for sure. I can say that when I was driving over 2 hours to an event, spending all day at the event, then driving over 2 hours back home, being able to recline the seat would have made the last 30 minutes of the drive more enjoyable. They are surprisingly comfortable for fixed-back racing seats, but factors like your age, height and weight will impact how comfortable they are on long trips.

I plan on buying the wide version with lumbar support. I daily drive the car because living in Japan, I’m only allowed to purchase a single car for me ( US military and Japan agreement). I really want a seat that can hold me in better and I’ve heard nothing but great reviews on this. Just that some times I have to make a 6 hour drive to Kyoto. I guess taking a break at a rest stop every few hours wouldn’t be so bad? I’m 6’2” with a 40” waist.

@@Edge5055 Most people I know with these seats are very happy with them. I've never done a 6-hour drive with these seats, but I think you would want/need to take a few breaks during a trip that long. I don't daily drive my autocross cars, so please let me know how you like the Forza seats for everyday use. That information will help other people considering these seats.
