thanks for the review - just a note for your camera person - they are moving the camera too fast and makes one want to throw up. If he stood back and just held the camera steady he would get a better video.
You're welcome. Yeah, sorry about that. That was one of our earliest videos. We have since gotten better at it and also gotten better equipment. We are still getting better at it. My camera man is 11 so I am rolling the dice if I can't use a tripod. Thanks again Lyn. Please subscribe if you have not. I would really appreciate that.
Sorry about that Lisa. That was one of our earlier videos. And keeping a 10-year old on task is tough. We have gotten significantly better and have purchased a lot of equipment since then. Glad you got the info you needed out of it. Please subscribe if you have not already. Thanks so much Lisa.
For those watching this wondering which to buy, go with the Milwaukee. Unless you don’t need a good amount of power, you’re going to regret it. I’ve been using the Arrow for a few days now and it consistently is unable to leave flush staples on shims stapled to soft wood.
Great insight Curtis. I think if you can afford the Milwaukee get it. If you can’t then the Arrow is ok. The are in very different price classes so to speak. Appreciate your input Curtis.
I appreciated this review of the cordless drills. Our children gave me an Arrow stapler which wouldn't charge so I sent it in & they replaced it. Now I was going to use the new one. light was green after charging & when i tried to push the trigger it just blinked red & green., wouldn't staple. So may have to buy another one. Not happy. Thanks for good you tube by garage dad.
You are so welcome Shirley. That was one of my earliest videos. We were really learning. Camera was bad. Audio was bad. But, I guess content was good. Lots of views on that one. Anyway, I still have both but to be honest I have not used the Arrow since I got the Milwaukee. The Milwaukee is going strong! I love it. Thanks again. I hope you will subscribe. I have a lot of DYI kind of stuff. There is other stuff mixed in too. But, if you go to my page and click on the Playlist you will find everything organized by topic. Have a great day Shirley.
I got halfway thru your review before I realized these didn't drive brads. But despite that, this was a good, comprehensive review. Arrow does make a 6-in-1 version that does drive brads and I think based on the power im seeing here (how mechanically different can the stapler/brad platform be)?, I might get the 6-in-1 anyway. Thanks, Edit: Before I forget; the 6 in 1 im talking about is NOT cordless.
Yeah, that is the one glaring hole this stapler has is being able to drive small nails or brads. That ability would make this stapler very complete. Cordless is a very big deal to me. Sometimes I use it for putting up chicken wire around the garden and I would hate to have to drag cords. Thanks for the great comments John. I appreciate it. Please subscribe and thumbs up if you have not already. Thank you!!!
@@DadsGarageDIY Quick question have you seen the KIMO, WORX, or Workzone nail/staplers? Here's al ink to one review: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VWo18SWvPFo.html Might be what you're looking for. I live in a city so I don't think I'd get enough use to warrrant the ~200 pricetag, but I definitely want one of these.
Awesome review and thanks. I’ll go for the Milwaukee, although 3x as much but it looks and sounds more solid. The replaceable batteries killed the Arrow that I was gonna buy today 👍🏼
Thanks so much. Yeah, I love the Milwaukee. I have used it for many projects now. I think I did that video about a year or maybe 18 months ago. Still going strong. Thank you. Please subscribe. I really appreciate it.
I bought the Arrow about a year ago and the battery is already dead. Wish I knew about this before then. :) Guess I'll be spending 4x as much in the end.
@@Elucidus4 Been there! What prompted me was doing a project one day and I kept having to stop over and over and over again to recharge. Swore never to go through that again. So, the very next day I went and got the Milwaukee. You will not be disappointed especially if you are already I the Milwaukee ecosystem. This is the tool that actually began my migration to Milwaukee.
Recently I decided to buy the Milwaukee stapler. I have M-12 tools and batteries already. So I got online to find a deal, I eventually found a factory reconditioned Milwaukee stapler on eBay for $56.00 with free shipping. Factory reconditioned tools are a great deal when you can find them. Usually at a big discount.
WOW Larry. That is an incredible deal. Even if you were not into reconditioned that is REALLY worth taking a shot for that price. Thanks so much for the information! Please subscribe if you already haven't. I would really appreciate it.
Sorry. That was one of our earliest videos. Still working on everything but we have gotten a lot better. Plus, sometimes a 10 year old camera "man" just can't sit still. LOL
We're getting better. Most of the time my camera "man" is my 10 year old son. We have added some equipment since this video was done and it has helped him stay more steady. Thanks for the comment.
@@DadsGarageDIY I'm Sorry, I didn't mean to sound harsh. I wanted to see your review because I need to buy a staple gun and I already have some M12 tools but it was a little had to watch because of the camera. I'm sure your son was doing the best he could. You did help me with my decision, I think I'll spend a few more bucks and buy the Milwaukee. I did change my rating to a like.
@@richarddagostino6116 No problem. We have a long way to go but we are looking a lot better than these earlier videos. We are learning. I agree with getting the Milwaukee. If you have the money you will be much happier with it. Thank you for liking the video. I really appreciate it Richard!
@@richarddagostino6116 www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/promotions_coupon-codes This should get them for you but if they don't call them (1-800-221-0516) and ask to get on their mailing lists for catalogs, etc. I get their mailers about every 2 months and they always include the coupons.
Value is not always measured in money...an "A" is pretty misleading if it won't drive the staples fully in. A bit like comparing the old "apple orange thing. Thanks for the review...very helpful! Milwaukee is for me then.
Sorry about that. This video was 3 years ago when we just had started the channel. We have come a long way since then with the video and audio quality. Now if we could just improve the host. LOL. Thanks for watching. Hopefully you will subscribe, watch some more videos, find some more useful content and see our improvements. Thanks again!
The Milwaukee is crap! Two hours after use at work had to tape the battery to the stapler to keep the battery from popping out of it's socket, also it throws extra staples out, don't waste your money
Wonder if you got a dud John. This video is a few years old now and mine is still going great! Granted I don't use it a ton. But, it has been flawless. Did they warranty it for you?
"Not that great of a difference"? The Milwaukee is like two time more powerful, no misfires, no jamming, puts everything flush every time. And uses the M12 batteries which you can swap for two seconds.
Yeah. That is a bummer. Even the Milwaukee doesn't shoot them. You can move up to an even more expensive (and physically larger) Milwaukee that will shoot brad nails.
You might want to purchase a camera tripod. Whomever is operating the video camera is jerking it all over the place during the video, making it very difficult to watch.
Did that a long time ago. That video was one of the 1st ones we did. We have learned and corrected a lot since then including sound. A lot of investment but hopefully all worth it. Sorry, we were very new. I do hope that you got some valuable information from the video. I appreciate you.
@@Spasticlemur Thank you! I really appreciate that. Hopefully you will find some more content that will be helpful. We will keep working to get better.
If used continually I would say around 10 minutes. 15 at best. It's a great stapler. But, with having to recharge it has it limitations. I appreciate it. Please subscribe and hit the thumbs up. Thank you!
@@aeronasca Worse case return it. Good luck. Look forward to hearing how it works for you. Please subscribe if you have not. Helps me a bunch and I appreciate it.
Neither of them do. I sure wish they did. That would be a huge plus. But, staples only. Thanks Tim. Please subscribe and thumbs up. Much appreciated my friend.
Very nice! It’s a good stapler. Really the only issue I have with it is the run time. If you don’t have a big project I’ll big deal. Shoot me another message later and let me know how you like it. Thanks for the comment!
