Core Problem With Science Communication in HINDI {Future Friday} 

I am not joking, I am from Patna and my school is among the top 5 in Bihar . There the teachers only made us read the science book, and they just translated it line by line from English to Hindi (The school was English medium) and in the notes we had to write the definitions of the topics line by line in the exam, and we got marks for the exam and the notes submission.

I study in a college where we have computer labs with every system having i7 16GB ram 1024GB ssd and a prettty high fee but our computer programming exam is done on pen paper 😅

23:15 I do this pulling the piston of large syringe with few drops of water in it. I always have tried to explain physics showing experiments and real-life examples. But the smarter students are interested in solving problems which will enable them to crack NEET/JEE only whereas the average students watch the experiments as magic and forgets the knowledge behind immediately after the class. Moreover, this teaching techniques take longer time. But I am not going to lose hope any time soon. Btw, it is quite worthwhile to use Pinkman in thumbnail.

This is honest opinion I also felt the same thing around me less people talked about this issue,I think some things need to be done.

Yes , you are right, I am doing electric Engineer deploma, and around 7 years it's my hobby to do project with electric and electronics, and I repair electric and electronics machines, and now I am getting intrested in my subject, but I don't get perfectly aligned with my syllabus.

Taaki meri hinglish samajh me aaye. 'Graduation' ke time ka ek kissa yaad aaya. 'Physics lab' me ek 'steel' ke 'wire' ka 'rigidity modulus' nikalna tha 'Maxwell‘s needle method' se. To uske liye 'steel' ke chhote 'cylinders' ka 'mass' bhee pata karna hota hai. To hamne 'weighing machine' par ek 'cylinder' ko rkha aur 'machine' ne 'show' Kiya X Kg (mujhe ab ye yaad nhee ki kitna 'mass' tha). Ab ek banda X ko 9.8 se 'divide' karne laga taaki vo 'mass' nikal sake. Maine use bola ki ye X mass hi hai. Pretty nice video, especially the discussion about, lack of lab integration in science education. Even at my privileged school, before 11-12, focus on lab was very less. But, I didn't agree about maths. A one off real world use of trigo won't make any difference. Trigo isn't the only thing people dread, and if we be real, most of the mathematics we study in school is indeed useless in adult life (and if your work actually require maths, it will be either so basic to automate through a tool or something way more serious than school stuff) But being useful in adult life, isn't really thr point of teaching maths. Its sole purpose is to sharpen the student's mind. And a sharp, problem solving mind is something that will help you with any field that you'll end up in, be it technical or non technical. This is what students need to learn (and by extension education system needs to teach), in my opinion. Abhi to its just, "maths is a scoring subject, so you need to be good at it"
