Primary challenge when companies put their core values out there: they are more open to scrutiny. The core values of Facebook and RU-vid about openness and giving everyone a voice have been blatantly disingenuous. In this last year they have censored and deleted millions of posts and videos that differ from their narrative. (Notice the plethora of social channels that are popping up for people to share ideas without censorship.)
