I use Corepads for their better value, but they do have one glaring weakness that should be mentioned more: Worse adhesive. It's much more gel-like and tends to at first gather dust and stuff pretty easily because it spreads from under the feet a bit. Tiger feet have a very thin tape-like adhesive that doesn't spread around. The adhesive on Tiger feet is also reusable in case you need to remove them, whereas on the Corepads there's a good chance you'll separate the adhesive from the feet.

i noticed that too, i was going to clean my mousepad and bumped on my g pro and dropped it, when i got it i realized that a noticeable amount of dirt was stuck on the glue arround the feets, i cleaned it with a qtip with some alcohol and its ok now

I swapped the feet on my superlight for corepads. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the second layer of the original feet, so I glued the corepads onto an extra layer. This made the mouse have lower sens, skip a bunch and feel much worse, but it was subtle enough that I didn't realize for two days. Felt awful. Now the second set of skatez I put on properly, and MY GOD is that one sexy mouse. Sorry, had to get this out of my system.
@peaky6622
@peaky6622 3 года назад
I'm afraid I'll end up doing the same thing. Is there an extra layer of adhesive that I have to remove after the stock skate itself?
@coiLz0r911
@coiLz0r911 3 года назад
@@peaky6622 When you peel off the feet and there is a smooth, black surface underneath with no screws, that is the second layer. You have to peel that one off just like regular mouse feet. Underneath that layer, you have the bare plastic with the screw holes. The plastic also has the same color that the shell has on the underside, whereas the second layer is a different color. But now that you know that there's a second layer there, I don't think you'll miss it.

@arisen_one625

It actually depends on the mouse as well to be honest. I found that ice feet on my gpx were too damn fast so I put corepadz on them and they were fast too. Its my experience that the gpx has a diff glide than other mice as well, seems unusually faster than others, but I think that has to do with wow big and how much surface area the feet are on the bottom. The ice feet on the viper mini are really good, because its smaller so imho its easier to control and stop, but I just got another viper mini and am currently testing all the various feet on diff surfaces. I got the arc 1s, corepads, stock, ice feet, and puretrak feet. The puretrak feet are adverised as "control" feet so im guessing they and the arc1s will be the slowest. I'm acctually been looking for slower mice feet if you can believe that for my viper mini for more control.... It almost seems that the direction of mousepads being fast and better ptfe feet coming on stock feet maybe slower aftermarket feet will become more sought after than fast? All I know is im using my neon pad and viper mini with ice feet and its pretty damn fast and the neon pad isnt a fast pad...

I have been very curious about the glass mouse skates from lethal gaming on the G Pro Superlight versus the Tiger Ice V2's I just put on my mouse. I also think I have a pair of Tiger Arcs that I haven't even used yet (kind of just left them in the bag as back ups in case I need them for whatever reason since it wasn't too expensive. It was a real biznitch to get the glass skates off the mouse, man. That adhesive really stuck them on there, so not sure if I will ever be able to get them back on the mouse if I want to but right now I am liking the Tiger Ice V2's, I am sure they'll get worn in after a day or two. But yeah, I wonder if anyone else went straight from Stock GPX feet to glass skates instead of trying PTFE feet first. Glass feet feel very nice on the Steelseries QCK Edge mouse pad I have (I have about 4 of them I rotate after washing them, I am considering buying a Saturn Pro mouse pad but they're like $50 with shipping, yeesh).

As a high DPI gamer playing CS:GO and Krunker at 1200 DPI 0.8 (Krunker 0.6) sens (~980 eDPI) I might side with stock feet for a while, as many people upgrade so the glide is more frictionless and not... restrained, to say the least; I need the "grip" this "additional friction" provides, otherwise my MAC-9 will soon not be mine.... I can't do with other guns because of the insane vertical recoil most rifles have, which is unhandy long story and periods of rage short given my high sens and DPI settings. On a side note, even Optimum Tech have said that ultralight gaming mice aren't necessary for high DPI gamers. I mean, we virtually lift our mice to track where we want it too more frequently since the cm/360˚ measurement is lower meaning our cursor always ends up at the edge of our screen per every flick shot some of us take. So the benefit of a lighter mouse for high DPI and sens gamers is that we won't need as well-built wrist and palm muscles to flick heavyweights like a G502 left and right which might give some people carpal tunnelling, extreme wrist pain and the like. Plus I have a smaller mousepad than what calculative low DPI gamers own, so- you get the idea, at a low 16cm/360˚ on Aiming Pro (roughly the length of your schoolbag pencil-case ruler which is ~15cm) and with a small mousepad topping at around 4cm more in width, stock feet that are painted PTFE paired with a fast mousepad or glass skates on rough mousepads might as well be the sweet spot for someone who's eDPI is 1000, with an ultralight mouse to reduce wrist strain and fatigue from holding a G502. To cap this statement I'm playing with a Pro X Superlight, with the Steelseries QcK Edge Medium.

Corepads are like tyres. You give them couple of days and they get way better and smoother. Haven't tried tiger ice to compare. I could easily also remove corepads slowly and reuse with new glue.

Hey I purchased some ice skates for my gpw from lethal gaming using your discount code. This might be a shot in the dark, but if you had an extra set of glass skates for the GPW I would buy them off you. Lethal Gaming Gear didnt have them in stock.
