Hello again everyone, recipe this week is delicious buns top with sweet corn and mayonnaise. A single dough recipe makes 4 and the double recipe makes 8 pieces.

Corn Mayo Buns Recipe
Dough (single recipe makes 4 pieces)
250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour/plain flour. Per cup = 125g.
1 tsp salt
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tbsp oil
125ml+2 tbsp warm water (1/2 cup+2 tbsp)
Extra oil for coating the dough.
Double recipe makes 8 pieces
500g (4 cups) all-purpose flour/plain flour. Per cup = 125g.
2 tsp salt
2 tsp instant yeast
2 tbsp oil
250ml+4 tbsp warm water (1 cup+4 tbsp)
Do not pour water all at once into the flour. Add 3/4 to it and add the rest a little at a time until your dough in the right consistency.
Extra oil for coating the dough.
Toppings: adjust to make about 2 teaspoons for each bun.
Sweet corn kernel
Red bell pepper/paprika, finely diced
Spring onion, finely chopped
Mayonnaise
Salt & pepper
In a small bowl, mix well together and keep chill until ready to use.

Indonesian
Resep Roti Jagung Mayo
Adonan (resep tunggal menghasilkan 4 buah)
250g (2 cangkir) tepung serbaguna / tepung terigu. Per cangkir = 125g.
1 sdt garam
1 sdt ragi instan
1 sdm minyak
125ml + 2 sdm air hangat (1/2 cangkir + 2 sdm)
Minyak ekstra untuk melapisi adonan.
Resep ganda menghasilkan 8 buah
500g (4 cangkir) tepung serbaguna / tepung terigu. Per cangkir = 125g.
2 sdt garam
2 sdt ragi instan
2 sdm minyak
250ml + 4 sdm air hangat (1 gelas + 4 sdm)
Jangan menuangkan air sekaligus ke dalam tepung. Tambahkan 3/4 ke dalamnya dan tambahkan sisanya sedikit demi sedikit sampai adonan Anda memiliki kekentalan yang tepat.
Minyak ekstra untuk melapisi adonan.
Topping: sesuaikan untuk membuat sekitar 2 sendok teh untuk setiap sanggul.
Kernel jagung manis
Paprika merah / paprika, potong dadu halus
Daun bawang, cincang halus
mayones
Garam lada
Dalam mangkuk kecil, aduk rata dan biarkan dingin sampai siap digunakan.

Where I lived in Brooklyn I was 2 blocks from 3 Chinese bakeries- these were my FAVORITE! They were about 60 cents a piece, and they would sell out SO quickly that if I walked in and saw them I would buy as many as I could. One of those things I could eat any day, any time- I'm just always in the "mood" for them- haven't had them in almost 3 years because they aren't here, and when I visit friends in NYC I just can't swing by and get them... so THANK YOU!

Hi Ninik, I noticed that you dont use butter n milk that you usually use in your bread recipes. Is the taste as good as your other bread? Or can I use your FLUFFY CHOCOLATE BREAD to make this bread n top it with corn n mayo instead? Thanks Ninik😊

Hello Wahida, I used different dough recipe for this one. Is was slightly different, the taste depends on the toppings. Of course, you can use the Fluffy Chocolate Bread, the really soft fluffy bread. Enjoy!

Hallo Pia Zimmermann, Teig (Einzelrezept ergibt 4 Stück) 250 g (2 Tassen) Allzweckmehl / Mehl (Wir können 405 Mehl verwenden). Pro Tasse = 125 g. 1 TL Salz 1 TL Instant-Hefe 1 EL Öl 125 ml + 2 EL warmes Wasser (1/2 Tasse + 2 EL) Zusätzliches Öl zum Überziehen des Teigs. Doppelrezept macht 8 Stück 500 g (4 Tassen) Allzweckmehl / Mehl. Pro Tasse = 125 g. 2 TL Salz 2 TL Instant-Hefe 2 EL Öl 250 ml + 4 EL warmes Wasser (1 Tasse + 4 EL) Gießen Sie kein Wasser auf einmal in das Mehl. Fügen Sie 3/4 hinzu und fügen Sie den Rest nach und nach hinzu, bis Ihr Teig die richtige Konsistenz hat. Zusätzliches Öl zum Überziehen des Teigs. Belag: Für jedes Brötchen etwa 2 Teelöffel zubereiten. Zuckermais-Kernel Rote Paprika, fein gewürfelt Frühlingszwiebeln, fein gehackt Mayonnaise Salz Pfeffer In einer kleinen Schüssel gut mischen und bis zur Verwendung kalt stellen.
