This week's Friday baking is Chicken Buns with Garlic Butter.

Chicken Garlic Butter Buns
Dough (single recipe makes 4 pieces)
250g all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tbsp oil
125ml+2 tbsp warm water (1/2 cup+2 tbsp)
Extra oil for coating the dough.
A double recipe makes 8 pieces
500g (4 cups) all-purpose flour/plain flour. Per cup = 125g.
2 tsp salt
2 tsp instant yeast
2 tbsp oil
250ml+4 tbsp warm water (1 cup+4 tbsp)
Do not pour water all at once into the flour. Add 3/4 to it and add the rest a little at a time until your dough is the right consistency.
Extra oil for coating the dough.
Garlic Butter
(for 8 pieces bun)
42g (3 tbsp) soft salted butter
2 tbsp chopped spring onion (parsley if you don't like spring onion)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt (more if you use unsalted butter), adjust.
Mix in a small bowl until well combined. Keep chill until ready to use.
