Grand Father built and ran his pharmacy in the Stewart Block (Howler building). He is buried there. Going back in 2016. Cool!

The enormous prairie sky! Just lovely. The sun setting was perfect- and the truck rolls by with its lights on symbolizing the coming of night. Great video!

@vridetv I think it was in 08 that I was there. Stopped in on my way back to wpg. And I actually got to stay in the Dog River Hotel overnight, but only after I had spent a good chunk of change on Corner Gas merchandise. Neat experience. I just wish I had been able to catch a glimpse of them taping an episode. How cool would it have been to be in the background of one of the scenes in an episode!

Cool video! I actually made a stop in rouleau a couple years back to see the corner gas set too. It was boarded up at the time unfortunately, but still very cool to see as a fan of the show.

The town is best known as the main filming location for the CTV television series Corner Gas. The series' production team built a full-size mock gas station and coffee shop at the western entrance of the town for filming, causing confusion among visitors thinking Corner Gas and The Ruby were real establishments.

I'm a fan of the show, and wish I had been able to visit the set while it was still standing. Sadly, it's all gone now, including the grain elevator. The town of Rouleau is still there but Corner Gas is gone.

It is unfortunate that it’s all gone, would have been a great opportunity for a tourist / CG fan site. Could have sold merch to help support upkeep 🤔
