I was in port isaac this past may and had the best time. I met all of the cast of doc martin and some really great ppl. Im going back in may 2023.👍👍 btw those streets are tight.
You passed right in front of the building that was used as the Tishel Pharmacy and didn't turn right to see the Port Wenn Surgery that was in Doc Martin! AWWWWWWW!!
Driving into Port Isaac isn't the best idea. The streets are *very* narrow, and if anyone is delivering anything in a van etc, you'd have to wait. These roads were never intended for cars..... Far better to park in the main car park at the top and walk down, as you'll see and notice more.....
Agree. Especially when there are many tourists blocking the streets. We were staying in the village hence driving in otherwise would definitely recommend the hill top car park 👍
Yes the streets are narrow but wagons and vans go up and down without much trouble ,parking is no allowed in the village unless you have a private space at your property ,you can park on the main car park at the top ,also it looks tighter from a web cam ,beautiful place ,be their in September ,lots of dogs ………don’t run over any ,worth a visite ,leave the car at the top .
Yup, no parking in the village unless the space is associated/belongs with your accommodation. Walking up and down the hills into the village certainly keeps you fit! Enjoy your visit in September! 😍
