Come explore Carnkie and Redruth with us, starting out up on Carn Brea, breathtaking views for miles and miles. Then we headed down to Carnkie (just down the hill!) and explored the great flat lode, a beautiful historic mining area.

Accessibility; You can drive up to the castle/hill top, limited parking. Or you can climb the hill from various locations in and around Redruth, Pool and Carnkie. Uneven ground, muddy/unsteady under foot. Fine for adventurous toddlers, not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.

Facilities; Restaurant in the castle, open in the evenings. No other amenities.

Accessibility; Uneven ground, some clear routes but unsteady rocks/muddy areas. Fine for off road prams but not strollers. Some accessible parts for wheelchairs but mostly uneven terrain.
