So much buildings that once made our downtown area so rich and beautiful are now gone, I honestly hope the new Downtown renovation plan works and we get our downtown back.
I lived in Corona from 1988-2000, I went to Corona High, Letha Raney, Jefferson, Parkridge and Vicentia. I miss Miguel Jr's Burritos. The CVL gang lol, lemon trees on Ontario Ave. Damn, it's been so long.
Whenever I drive around corona I always got the sense that there used to be a lot of things around that aren’t there anymore and this video confirmed that
There also used to be a mall or shopping center at the other side of North Main Street where Sears is, it was demolished in early 2015 and now it is now an apartment.
Corona was ruined, all those beautiful old buildings torn down, the Valvoline building is a good example, 4:44, LOL Sad, it seemed nice back in the day - what a shame !
This video brings memories when I used to live in corona in the 80s I remember it was pure groves I used to live by chase drive and back then it was chase and Wesley drive I went to el Cerrito elementary school and coronita elementary school it was nice back then ❤
Born and raised. Sad that so much of the old buildings by the hospital have been bought and torn down for expansion. They own everything across the street now just waiting on the ppl to die and those r gone too for new offices.

Pan is to become a new Corona resident and will work hard with City council to preserve the lovely architecture and atmosphere of the city of the past. Let's not forget!
