Jez was scary. I was really young when I saw him on corrie and my god he scared me. Complete psycho. He did his part well. I heard he’s such a friendly and kind person in real life.

jim handed himself in shortly after because it was the right thing to do. He also thought it wouldn't be long before the police came knocking on his door. I suppose he could have been right there because there were witnesses that he pushed out of the way going into jez's flat. So he probably would have got arrested eventually if he didn't hand himself in.

The scenes were supposed to be serious. However I've always found Jim hilarious. I laughed my wee head off when I watched this so I did. The most angry man in soapland ever so he was. I hope he goes back into corrie, it may bring some violent humour. There's a few annoying characters that need a good punch so they do.

It's hilarious how the insult that put him over the edge and caused him to pick up the baseball bat and hit him with it was "you're a big girl's blouse" which as an insult is pretty much the mildest way to make fun of someone in British English language. It's like laughably daft. I love it. Whenever as a kid I was acting silly or daft or scared of something my parents would call me a big girl's blouse. Like when we were on holiday and went to the zoo in Fuengirola, Spain, and went into the bat room, the bats weren't behind any kind of net or glass or metal bars or anything, they were just all up hanging off the roof, and could in theory fly down and land on you if they wanted (but they didn't because they're more scared of you than you are of them), so I got terrified cos I was 9, and ran out of the bat room, and my parents called me a big girl's blouse, and they were correct. I went back to that zoo 20 years later as an adult and I was still terrified of that room. Though I managed to not just immediately run out, that time, just walk at a brisk pace. It's basically just a very large shed, it's not a huge room, like maybe 50ft long? But cos it was my childhood I first was there, it's probably the reason why bats are the only animal I'm scared of. And I'm in good company considering Batman is terrified of them. But Batman like me is just being a big girl's blouse.

It was obviously the body punch from Jim which killed Jez but I don't know how that was enough to kill him.

Back when soap writing was absolutely phenomenal. Those days are well and truly gone.
