Even Daniel can see what he did was a accident when he pushed Max out the door and Max tripped on his bag which caused him to fall but Max intentionally used a date rape drug without know what harm it could do to hurt someone for once I'm glad even David is scared of what he'll do next
Doesn't Max realize that's how his father David got raped a few years ago by Josh? He was drugged and taking advantage of that sicko. If I was David I'll deeply consider shopping that boy off to the police.
Soap bosses are always saying "we wanted this to be as realistic as possible", but this is far from realistic. First off, Daniel would be sacked very quickly. Second, with Max's name keep cropping up on the radar then social services should be getting involved at this point and looking at getting Max mandated therapy or worse taking him into care away from Weatherfield.
Master manipulater max he may of not intended to hurt am but did Daniel and Daniel never meant to harm max it's that simple max set out to harm someone but accidently hurt someone else in the process young offenders for him soon I think deffo a younger David in the making.

When I think of Max's storylines with Daniel and with this drugging the drink. All I keep thinking is the writing trope, blood will tell. Max's bio dad was a bad one, so it feels like they are doing the same with Max. Mainly cause soaps always have some devil child who becomes a problematic nightmare for their parents, like Amy has been for Steve and Tracy. Drugging someone on purpose is a serious crime, Max needs to face some consequences and work on his issues.
@UKSKIDS Or girls like Liv and Gabby from Emmerdale. Soaps seem to have certain tweens/teens of certain parentage become little terrors overnight. That the show keeps giving passes to because they're still "young and innocent" until they just keep getting worse and worse.
Since teachers are considered Mandated Reporters under the law, if he doesn't report Max to the cops, he would face serious charges himself. Do the honourable thing and call the cops on Max.
