Thanks for the shout out man! Yeah, iPhone only bc I don’t need to add any more editing time to my to do list. 😂 That’s a big level up when someone can require the client to increase production time and budget. Definitely need to be brave. But like you said, the right client will be receptive. And also, the fx6 shoulder setup looks a bit front heavy. That might be adding to the fatigue. I was able to circumvent it buy buying a long nato rail from nitze to extend my monitor forward as I slide the camera back.

I appreciate your honesty in these Vlogs. Yeah, that FX6 is front heavy, not to mention all the extra junk that we end up putting on it. We were only supposed to be shooting b-roll on the FX3 with the gimbal, but we realized that we wanted to get as much b-roll as we could, so I shoulder mounted the rig and realized that was a bad idea.

Why take so much time setting up the interview scene and shooting it with only 1 cam?

Didn’t take very much time at all. In this instance we only really need one angle since we’re putting together a promo that will not hang on the interview so much.

There was a time ,not so long ago , that every interview was one camera , decades of documentaries , you can cut away to other material , it doesn't have to be a close B camera etc. Plus the client should pay for a second camera , don't throw that in for nothing .
